Considering the distance, even slightest miscalculation could result in complete miss. And dude did it all manually. Let's talk about an actual skill. Rusty could hit fly wings without killing it. That's one scary man... :|
I'm suprised how Rusty never used a Laser Rifle in his AC when he's got sharpshooting skills like this. Imagine a Fight with Rusty where he Snipes you from a distance like those Invisible Unmanned Robots you fight in BAWS Factory.

The iceworm was surprisingly the only boss I lost twice not counting the arena fights The English voice actors are way to good at their job even behind a voice filter to the point where I literally tried to talk Rusty out of fighting during my encounters against him
This whole fight is so well written. When though it’s a gimmick fight the cinematic quality of this scene is outstanding. They do such a great job of building up the mission from all the Corps meeting to drive how dangerous and important this operation is. The banter between all the pilots is top notch too. I really can’t overstate how good and entertaining this entire fight was

Rusty might be too augmented to have a face. Rusty even claims to be more augmented than most AC pilots so he could even be a more advanced AI than "Chatty", or even similar to Ayre as she is an engram AI existing within the Coral like an afterlife on naturally formed binary.
Intentional design 100%. I think we were meant to really feel the relationships between ourselves and the other characters based on what's expressed over comms alone.
"I wont miss" has a lot of impact with how confident it sounds and is a familiar phrase in anime/japanese media for that added nostalgia. But I like how "Watch out for friendly fire" avoids making the moment repetitive by adding just enough humor without taking you out of the situation.

I just love rusty and this mission, armored core 6 its the first game i have platinum because its kinda easier than other titles and because is so good

I've beaten this mission a handful of times and just noticed that when the railgun fires at max power, the blast is so strong it breaks the sound barrier and create a shockwave around the beam.

On that final shot, he was using so much power that his radio was starting to static. Little details make this game so great.
You can see the multiple sonic booms caused by the round on the last shot. Every single detail is perfect
its such a beautiful game too.. it really captures the feel more than any other mecha game..

There’s even a special bit of dialogue if you forget to bring the needle. Michigan loses his temper at you
