Dum Pulao Ingredients
Ingredients:
For Mutton Korma/Gravy
Mutton 1.5 kg
Red Chilli Powder 2.5tbs
Black Pepper Corn 1 tbs
Cloves 12 pcs
Cumin 1.5 tbs
Dried Plums 15 pcs
Oil 350 gms or 2 cups
Tomato 450 gms or 6 Large
Fried Onions 75 gms or 1.5cup
Salt 1.5 tbs
Ginger 3 inch
Garlic 8 big cloves
Green Chillies 7
Water 3 cup total
For boiling rice
Rice 1.5 kg
Salts 6tbs
Water as required
Bay Leaf

Assalam o Alaikum, im back to review the Mutton Dum Pulao recipe. Made it 2 days ago and it’s delicious. It’s more like biryani tasting and is masaledar which I prefer anyways over pulao. Great recipe to keep. My whole family enjoyed. Jazakallah!

One correction:
For dum, you have to seal the biryani with some dough.
It's a pressure cooking method.
This can't be defined as Dum Biryani or Pilav (as the Persians call it).
You may watch Lucknawi Dum Biryani recipes which are authentic.
Though, I admire your effort. Thanks for your rendition of biryani.
