The bowing named "Multi-Tone Whip Stroke" is a new combination of the Detached and Bounce strokes, using either 3 or 4 strings on the same stroke. This stroke has never been used in any previous Violin repertoire. it can also be executed on the Viola, Cello, and String Bass.
