Much Respect For Your Honesty, Its Very Hard to Find A Good Honest Mechanic, 1 Reason I Work On My Own Cars.
Thank you, be honest with a customer and it keeps them com8ng back and referring friends and family
A Dodge with a bad design? No way!!
It blew my mind when I first saw that ...
Man Jon that ford would drive me nuts .. to figure that out was clever on your part .. Jon was very honest on that Honda and save that guy money other people would took advantage to make more money.. Great job as always..
That ford really peaked my frustration, it had other issues going on. It randomly not wanting to start was just one of the issues I ran into 😩. I couldn't change those parts knowing it was a really simple fix . The owner did save a ton of money
Your attention to detail is impressive.
That's, the ford had me losing the little hair I had left lol
I wonder how many 'bad parts out the box' were because a former customer returned a bad sensor and the parts employees put it back onto the shelf.
That definitely a possibility. The bad parts from rockauto I didn't even attempt to send back . I just count it as a loss because I feel like rockauto would put that faulty sensor back into rotation. That was a headache I was not expecting
The ps sensor is causing a no start , hum it must be a dead short but even then a no start 😅😂
It's crazy but year it must be a short inside that sensor. How many people would have shot the parts cannon at it trying to figure it out?
These videos are the best insurance for customers. Thank you for being so honest especially with that Dodge
It sucks when something is more work than anticipated but no owner wants to get the call saying the price is going up
I got burned on a EGR Valve brand WVE from rock auto. 2003 Hyundai Santa fe symptom was a sticking EGR valve. I tested it and it was sticking so I ordered it. installed installed the new part and SUV ran even worse. I took the new part out and bench test it and it wasn't hold vacuum. Long story short I clean the carbon from original old EGR valve and it was holding vacuum and working. Sent the New EGR valve right back lol with a review. Also Side comment returning orders to rock auto such a pain? different warehouses different return labels lol. come on rock auto!
Someone else just commented about rockauto putting faulty parts back into rotation when they get returned. Don't know if they have a system to weed out faulty parts but who knows 🤷♂️
Fantastic find on the truck sensor issue, that was a bit scary 😂.. looks like that truck was under water at one point . the rust has is bananas!! Hope you got a tetanus shot after removing that splinter 😂 😂😂😂😂
It took me like 7 hours to remove just that one valve cover. Every single bolt was rounded off . Or completely missing from rust . What a nightmare of a job. I seriously regretted taking on that truck but the work got done.
I feel your pain. Those are the days you just want to curl up in bed and just go to sleep, because you know no matter what you do that day its gonna be a shi fest. Heres to you having a better day tommorrow.
Exactly. To top it off if I feel cold while working... I really don't want to be there 😩
Damn parts cannon strikes again 😮
Great job 👍
Definitely, parts cannon is not the way lol
👍🏿
What hair 😂😂😂😂
I know right ! 😩 this is why I have no hair lol
Great stuff 👍
Thanks for watching
May we ask that you do not put more than one car repair on one video PLEASE, you are losing and some of us are not interested in watching and cataloging multiple cars in one video, yes, many of your viewers create a database of repair videos, but not like this, I have over 30,000 non-DIY Channel videos time stamped and catalogued, and this is rare, cheers.
These type of videos are not meant to be DIY videos, that are for my loyal viewers that enjoy seeing the cars I work on. If I'm making a DIY video the video would be focused on one car and one problem.
👍🏿
