You can buy suspicious tech and arms from the dealer in the pirate station for credits, and then you can sell the modules for nanites
25000 ninitets for 20 million in less than an hour
So buy a bunch of suspicious tech packets, some will give you upgrades you can sell for nanites? Rinse and repeat? never thought of that. great tip!

14:36 apparently that's a bug you're supposed to be able to put the teleport receiver on to the sentinel ship but no worries apparently a hotfix patch came out today April 14th 2023

I did more smooth transitions between scenes. Glad it helped!
Finally found my corrupted sentinels. Got the thing that locates the place where the multi-tool is, sorted out the input glyphs (easy maths), and the multi-tool was the rifle. What you got was the "SMG" sized one... The one between the rifle and the pistol. The ship it led me to... quite close to the interceptors they use when you "accidentally" blow up a freighter.
The cabinet changes depending on which planet you reload on too, like the Minor Settlement MT cabinets. I got the one that Bob got and then my game crashed.
When I loaded back in I had to claim it all over again, and it was the big S class rifle that looks like that IRL rail gun that just was invented.
I haven't even optimized my tech layout yet and its at 14,500 damage.
They are way OP 😂.
I have gotten some of those dreadnought beacon things for finding crashed sentinel ships in the goodies my frigates bring back too.
One thing i dont understand in this game is why you can scrap ships and get units but not multitools. it would be the same script with just pics of scan tools instead of ships.

@looney1419 they basically done exactly what I said. When they first released multitool scraping there was a picture of a ship on the front panel of the scraping station.

One of the things I'm enjoying is the various options for reliable nanite farming.
Yeah those big purple crystals are worth 50 each and allll over the place.
I haven't tried shooting them from the ship, if you can mine them that way it will be like printing money.

@@gwoody4003 sorry for the necromancy reply here, but exocraft mining lasers don’t have range falloff. Because of that you can drive around in a roamer and just constantly scan for the crystal icons. Beam them from super far away and just keep driving around. You can easily get over a dozen crystals every minute if the terrain is friendly

You should tell Sean Murray to implement the appearance modifier into the exo suit tech merchant since he has pieces of suit in his area and the only place you see the appearance modifier would be in player bases then do the same with the ship upgrade station, integrate that with the ship tech merchant along with giving up the ability to change color of ships for crying out loud lol. Anyway integrating those would give those merchants more meaning hell the multi tool guy has the multi tool station integrated in his station so why not.
If only he would listen to me...
@A Moon Rabbit uh because I'm talking about at the actual window where they operate their business not off to the side. As I said just like the multi tool guy has of course if you're not blind or can't read what I wrote that is. Placing the things together in their respective windows would be cool and give the appearance modifier and ship upgrade a better home and give better meaning for visiting those guys at their windows. Was I not clear enough what I was talking about? I mean it's not hard to figure out that I clearly said something about where they're located versus where they could be lol

6:50 BTW, I personally prefer to play with two multi-tools. One for scanning and mining and one for actual combat. I just assigned hotkeys to them and swap at any moment. Specifically removed scanner from the combat one to avoid accidentally scanning with it. And considering you can activate hotkeys while in the scanning mode and we switching between scanner types with 1 and 3 it's better to bind scanner mt on 1.
That's mostly because I prefer my mining/scanning mt to be some kind of utility "pistol" (something you'd more likely to use for work rather than combat... unless combat is your work) while combat one should be a rifle (looks like a lot of damage and shoots appropriately).
9:53 You need an MT with 4 adjacent slots for that and specific weapon. As for example, I don't think you can get over 30k with a Pulse Spitter. I think 50k was achieved with a Scatter Blaster. Not that it does matter much since either one will erase sentinels from existence.

21:05 Perhaps you were using auto-targeting before? As in "hold S (back)" mode. Makes combat a bit too easy and somewhat boring, though. Or different steering mode since one of them locks ship to mouse cursor (or rather mouse cursor to your ship) and other makes it follow in pointer's direction and you can shoot where you point before you fully turn in that direction.
29:25 That's a secret message encoded in binary codes of ASCII letters. There's 11 letters in total. Nothing of importance, just a bit of lore related to corrupt sentinels and probably something we may expect to see in one of the upcoming patches.
Its like spraying them with a hose LMAO! You really dont even have to destroy pirate system freighters anymore. Ive just been scrapping the unwanted new ships and racking up the units. I still do it for fun tho. Good stuff my man!!

Maybe go from planet to planet, record the ones that look cool, and pick one that looks _really_ cool for your own stable.

Yeah I got an S class rifle and without fully upgrading and optimizing the layout of my tech, its got 14500 damage rating.
That one did have 4 supercharged slots in a square.

I can barely steer my ship after the latest update. Maneuverability is through the roof and still enemies are making 90 degree turns whereas I can barely turn to face them.
Am I missing something?
Yeah, a cyclonic ballista so they stop.
Same here. I haven’t really tried any of my old ships though. It may just be the interceptors. They fly like haulers to me.

@@SurvivalBobGaming place the main pulse drive blueprint and a maneuverability blueprint in another supercharger slot and then connect them and that’ll give you excellent maneuverability and speed

Between this issue and the constantly resetting control mappings, I have the feeling that something has gone terrible wrong with some variables in the config files.
that's the idea, hit frieghters with your interceptor and when anyone askes you can blame it on the sentinels X)c
the ingame reason for dead planets not having the ships is they are made into useable ships by someone so if there isnt anyone on the planet no one tried to convert the ship into a useable ship

10:45 ive been collecting the c class sentinels and then swapping them for S class exotics and other ships so i can get the 3 expansion slots and 3 or 4 s class upgrades each time i scrap them ....

There is a Hint of (Seventeen ???...) but all i have found is "Eleven". Each code is one English letter or space. The code reads "VOID MOTHER". You seen anyone do the decode yet? I wonder who the void mother is???

how does your jet pack fly so far? lucky black market mobility upgrades?
Think I had 2 S Class ones. I was on an airless planet at the end. Low gravity so you fall slowly and with the recharge when falling mod you can just keep going.
That reminds me did you check out the new backpack yet

if any of u guys want good nanites spend all of ur nanites on the shotgun upgrades S class preferably and go kill a bunch of sentinels to get the shards they drop, open the shards and sell the parts i just got 10k nanites from it
also what i do is get to the 3rd wanted level and kill the dog thing and everything else but dont kill the triangle dude that summons more and just keep farming the ones he summons ez

That makes your standing drop with the life form of the system. They don’t care if you shoot the big ones though. Should have mentioned it.
how can you avoid getting technology overload?
Just get 3 S upgrades for Knife for your ship and trash the rest. Less work and you melt things. All that switching weapons bull is a waste of a button push when knife will do it faster and easier.

You lose standing with the system race if you do. Unless they changed it. Haven’t don’t it for years. It’s habit.
I know it's cheating a bit since I'm not really piloting. But when fighting ship to ship I hold down "S" to lock on to the other ship and just fire the photon cannon. It's pretty easy to melt enemy ships that way.
I tried it when they added it. Wasn’t as fun for me. I used to fly backward anyway but without auto lock so it really messed with me.
Todd, the arms dealer on my freighter, is really bad at making guns. Can i send him to training?

Sentinel ships aren't worth the time. Pain to fuel and repair. Damage in this game really doesn't matter everything dies easily no matter what you do.
Really not a fan of premieres. If I'm not here on the dot, I have to wait until it's over so I can watch it from the beginning. What's the point of this?
You can watch from the beginning, just force it back to beginning even if during premier time.
The point is to provide a platform for people to chat live while watching the video together, but as I said, you can just start it from beginning if you want.
Sorry you don't like it Chris. I thought you could pull the slider back to the beginning like in a live stream. I do it to interact with the audience and answer questions live.
