Another fine episode, the expance of bootlegs available, both good and bad , make for many more installments of your detailed and entertaining analysis i hope. Thanks fellas.
Physically located in Landover, but part of the "unincorporated area and census-designated place in Prince George's County." Largo is the diminutive, community versus area. Semantics that probably matter not a damn to anyone other than those who live there.
I was just in DC in May and their subway system has a stop called Largo. Of course, when I saw that I told my wife that’s where the capital Center used to be where Kiss always played and where heavy metal parking lot was filmed. Of course she couldn’t care less haha.
@@andrewsgambati Landover has a bad connotation of crime and drugs in the area. The US Census has changed the geo location several times so it is confusing. The I-495 Beltway is all that really separates them.
@@kissfaq another note the screens weren’t by the stage. It was a 4 way screen that hung from the rafters with the scoreboards and was more than halfway to the top. You’d only really watch it from the nosebleeds
Great show fellas! Im with Julien and love a lot of the gimmicky '70's effects. It must be a nostalgia thing with blokes of a certain age😊
Another great episode guys, its amazing the encashable appetite for KISS video/film material.

@Andrew oh yeah! syncing audio takes forever!
I’ve always loved how during She there’s a delay put on Peter’s snare (among other things) making it sound like a dub/Stuart Copeland type thing.
Another great discussion.
IT'S LANDOVER LOL!!! Thanks for watching everyone.

Amazon are selling bootlegs by every band now, some even make it onto Spotify etc.
what was going on was 2 guys were high back in the video booth playing with a video mixer....
Probably. Like that on some other Largo vids of the time.
@@kissfaq psychedelics were prevalent and plentiful back then !
I imagine a few people were on "acid" at this show...including the people doing the "graphics"
I bought Largo 79 at a record show In 1988 and I don’t think anything else was available then
I still say Andrew's t-shirt "stinks"...
Cool shirt by the way...
It’s Largo.
Yep ;)
