My great-great grandparents George and Martha (Bayne) Cooper came to America in the 1800s from Norfolk, England so naturally I enjoy learning about this beautiful country. Thank you for the documentaries.
Sheeple Never asked WHO built ALL these Palaces. They dont see the IMPOSSIBLE task. Same thing in every country. This is Old World. Horse and cart. Hammer and chisel. Yeah right.
Many thanks from a viewer from the US, this wonderful series presents a beautiful presentation of British houses that provides many of us the ability to see the treasures of England.
My interest interest in Blickling is more along the lines of the Boleyn family. "Rumor" has it they inhabited the former manor on the grounds and that Anne was born here. Still, this episode was extremely interesting. Love seeing manor homes that, sadly, will never feel my feet. Lovely job!
This was the childhood home of Jane Boleyn wife to the infamous George… Narrator says house is Jacobean but it must actually have been built during the reign of Henry VIII or even earlier. Why can’t people get their facts right before publishing a video
Outstanding series on some of the finest stately homes in UK. My family enjoyed a visit to Blickling years ago, when my brother lived in Norfolk, and my brother owns a fine original watercolor of the estate painted in the snow. Recommend Chris’s series on Norfolk piers if you enjoyed this.
Wow❗There seems to be no end to the wealth in GB. I suppose alot of people were and are employed to create and maintain these extraordinary creations. I would like to hear more about the artisans and the people behind the scenes., the gardeners, servants, etc.
Natural Trust needs to remain proud of everything not turn Woke 🙄

I walk around this estate weekly never tire of looking at the house as we drive home.

i want to go there so i can scream bono as i walk around
I was hoping to see Bono's sizeable collection of hatchbacks. I guess he must've sold the vehicles to buy a new hat.
