Thank-you very much for your kind comments - and my apologies that I have taken so long to respond to your generous words. I'm delighted that you have found them so calming and appealing.
Hello Alison, thank-you for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated. I'm delighted you have found the stories to be interesting and calming.
These videos are so well put together. I enjoy this series because most shows only do pans of a room and never really talk about the all of the history. I like that even though you don't show every room in these magnificent halls and manors; one room has plenty of history for us learn. I also enjoy when people talk about the symbolism of the art and the why they bought or had it commissioned. Fascinating.
Hello, and thank-you for taking the time to send a message. Your kind comments are much appreciated and I delighted that you are enjoying the Stately Homes.> I certainly had a wonderful time in researching, creating & filming the series and I hope to have another two houses added to the channel soon.
Hi Catherine - thank-you very much for this lovely comment, it is much appreciated. I share the compliments with my cameraman Shaun Lawson, who has a keen eye for creating the story. I hope that you enjoy watching the other houses in the series. There are two others at the editing stage so more to come !
I've only just discovered these videos, and they are a real treat. Marvelous houses, well shot, and Chris's presentation is first rate. It is such a pleasant change to find a series about houses where the presenter obviously knows and cares about the subject but also asks questions that are intelligent and helpful to the unacquainted viewer. Hindringham Hall is a real peach of a house, inside and out.
Hello Simon Thank-you very much for your kind comments, very much appreciated. I do indeed care about the subject and that is born from a genuine interest in history and how it relates to us in the 21st century. And as you say, Hindringham is a delightful house - which the owners will no doubt re-open in 2021 once they are permitted to have people once again visit. It is well worth a visit if you are in the North Norfolk area.
Hello Lynn, thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes, it is a lovely magical location and I really enjoyed creating the story and filming there. And have been back since too, still delightful Chris
Dear Chris - thank-you for taking the time to comment and I am delighted you enjoyed the tours. There are certainly a variety of stately homes in Norfolk. There are two more episodes currently being edited and I hope to have these available to view very soon.
Hello Julie - and thank-you for your kind comments, I'm pleased that you are enjoying them so much! Not sure I have ever had anyone binge watch my stories!! There are 86 stories in total so plenty to keep you amused (and sort out your insomnia too) ! With good wishes
Hello Dixie - thanks very much for your comment and I'm delighted that you enjoyed watching the Hindringham Hall episode. And I hope you will enjoy some of the other wonderful houses in Norfolk. I am currently working on two more episodes which I aim to have available to view in a couple of weeks.
Thank-you Cassandra, your comments are much appreciated. I had a great deal of enjoyment from researching & writing the series of Stately Homes and then even more actually meeting the people and filming. So I do appreciate it when viewers let me know that it has appealed.
Thank-you for your kind compliment Paul, much appreciated. It has been great fun to research, write and create these stories, and there are still two more Stately Homes in the editing suite, so hopefully I can present them soon
Hello Hazel Thank-you for taking the time to comment. I am sure that Hindringham must have been a wonderful place to work all those years ago. It does open occasionally during the Summer months for tours so you could perhaps go back and revisit. Chris
Thank-you for taking the time to comment - and yes, amazing that Mrs Tucker has just one full-time gardener. It is remarkable that the garden flourishes so well, all due to the hard work that they put in. If you have the opportunity to visit Hindringham then do go, once the restrictions are lifted and they re-open.
A lovely programme as part of a terrific series, but why oh why do you have to pay music whilst people are talking? Sometimes it is so loud and intrusive one cannot hear the comments.
hello - and thank-you for taking the time to comment, it is much appreciated. You make a fair point and it certainly an issue I will consider when we edit further episodes at other Norfolk Stately Homes Kind regards
A real homey, lovable, likeable home with practical gardens. Beautiful place.
Hello Shirley, thank-you for your kind comments, and I agree, Hindringham is indeed a real homey place.

Sometimes it is a shame there is so much on RUclips that you cannot find the truly interesting series easily. I shall enjoy looking at your videos.

Wonderful series. I didn't know fish was an important part of the medieval monk's diet.
What a lovely series of tours of these great estates. Thank You!

I worked at hindringham Hall 36 years ago
Hello Hazel

Like something from a Beatrix Potter story. So beautiful, and only one gardener!
