My x husband took me to BHTM concert, I went so many times good memories I hope hes doing well . Im doing good, I was so young when I got married to him. We divorced but I didn't divorce the band.
A very underrated and overlooked band. I've been a fan since the early 90's. "Broken Hearted Savior" and "Bittersweet" are my favorites, but this song is up there.
Absolutely love these gifted musicians! Just saw them in Reno summer 2023. They sound as great as they did in the 90's. I tried to get Mr.Todd Parks to sing Crazy Mary but I guess they have a play list they have to stick too. Played with Blues Travelers a memorable night. Thank you Big Head Todd and the Monsters.Great birthday gift from my wife.
I discovered this band about a year ago and can’t get enough. I play Todd’s music on a loop. I love how this song just builds until the guitar solo comes on and just explodes. The whole band is just kicking it and the base line is so solid. The sound on this Red Rocks cut is outstanding. Thank you for making your music sound so good!
How does a guy with a voice like that and guitar skills like that never hit it massively big? Oh, yeah, all the lemmings are listening to Beiber and Swift. Feel sorry for them.
One of the best songs ever. Everyone alive can relate to this song-everyone. And, he kills it by sounding better live while playing the guitar than most recorded in the studio.
Help! I love this song yet I don't understand it? I pulled up the lyrics and am lost. He loves her but still keeps his distance? I welcome a response, I really like these guys!

Loved seeing BHT play at neighborhood outdoor festivals during the 90’s in the summer in Chicago. Some of the best times in my life with great friends in the greatest big city in the world.
I've seen them in concert 2x's and in my opinion they're the best band to ever come out of Colorado and if they were in a major market earlier on they would undoubtedly be much more known & famous than they already are!✌❤✌
I hav never had songs reach down in my soul and play with my feelings like this group does . I love your style your beat your presentation . Please don’t tell her 💞
I've only had the opportunity to see them live once, but I've been listening to them for a few decades (even before they were BHTM).. And I was fortunate to go to high school with them -- they played then, too

Good memories. Saw BHT for the first time at a house party circa 1988 (?) and many different places around Boulder thereafter. A nice contrast to The Samples who played in that era -and also red hot at the time. You could just walk into a big house/ bar/ frat party and there they were. A smoky room, cold beer flowing, walls shaking, and good times: Steady beat, loud strat, big hat, and smooth vocals.
Were you studying at Boulder? How smoky was the room and what kind of smoke was it? U of C is one great place but probably not appropriate for an institution of higher education....maybe a few too many distractions and disincentives to be straight on the curriculum, reporting on history, etc. But definitely a great time/era for music and a great place to kick back and toke...ugh take in BHT and their musical vibe.
I think we might have bumped into each other. Just did the heck out of these guys. Do'nt live in Boulder any more but sure do miss some good Colorado rock. The front range just has it going on.
Some one below asked the question why they never made it as a mainstream rock/pop act and I think your comment explains....they came out of Boulder, U of Colorado party scene, and unless one were fortunate enough to be a listener of a underground rock FM music station back in the 80's, about 30 years ago, you'd probably never know about them. They are above all, a regional band, with an almost cult like following along the lines of the Dead. We got to hear them in Chicago thru WXRT 93.1 Fine Rock FM outlet....and Todd's group played several of the local clubs and New Year's parties in downtown Chicago way back when. They are known here in Chicago, but not so sure they have a national market presence. They are good though, especially Todd.
@@petewentz3528 Yup....really good. First heard them on KFOG in San Francisco.....an alternative station, at the time. "Bittersweet" is still my favorite.
