Super fun game to play and can be converted to a 1vs1 flight combat or race!

@MAD GRUMPYMAN this has proven to be a very true statement. I destroyed a Piper Cub model on takeoff. I hit a tree going 60mph with my Armattan Rooster 5" quad...and a Lipo might powder puff a Gopro...I might even replace an antenna, but the quad will fly fine again with fresh props more often than not.
Dude, I was thinking about this when I saw some RC planes. But yours is far way better than I imagined, having a functional HUD is sick! Also, nice touch with the Ace Combat 4 OST.
While on high school, I discussed with a friend and my physics teacher, how to use earth rotation for a faster travel. Create an vehicle that would climb into earth orbit, high enough to have a similar effect as the ISS. My teacher was baffled as he never heard an idea like that, and wanted to enroll me in a national science fair. Fast forward a couple of years after my graduation and found online that there were several companies and space agencies studying just that. There are a lot of people on earth and a lot of people will come up with similar ideas
Bruh, I was just watching fpv rc car videos imagining how difficult but cool it would be to create a turreted fpv system so you could look around you, and you got it on a damn fighter jet. That's epic af, implement that into a land rc vehicle with a steering wheel and pedals.
I've been into fpv quads for a while but i played ace combat 7 recently and got this idea. But seeing your flight 100% convinced me to start building one!! Looks crazy fun!!!
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's amazing that you can see through the camera mounted on the nose of the jet. I must say, your choice of soundtrack is impeccable. Ace Combat?
Amazing....didn't realise this was possible already. This must make the flying easier as you don't need to deal with control reversal as you fly towards yourself etc....I would imagine multiple guys could fly a display team.
Check my latest video for a bit on that... As for being easier... depends. Some things get easier from cockpit view, some others are more difficult. Judging speed can be more difficult at times (even with the OSD information) and high alpha control is super-hard among other things.
This right here is the future of entertainment. Fertile ground for the business man who knows how to open new markets. Would love to see this in craft store shelves all across the country
I’ve flown quads for quite a few years, and gave this a try in a flying wing. Gotta say, flying a plane is much, much harder than a racing quad for sure. I’ve lost a couple of planes just by loosing my bearings. Great flying!!!
Thank you! You need to approach this in incremental steps, like starting with a very easy to fly and repair aircraft such as a bixler / easy star or glider of sorts. These in turn fly for a lot of time so you can gain experience and log flight hours much faster. They also make for great head-tracker platforms to learn to use HT devices. I was flying these jets in parallel while learning FPV, so in the end I merged it all together and all the experience allowed me to be succesful. Doing PC simulation of the fullscale jet in sims like DCS (Su-27) also help a huge lot. Not just with flying but spatial awareness and so on. Hope that helps! :D
Gracias! ;)
You'll have to start earning it! I don't mean economically (though it is a factor too). One should start with easier aircraft and slowly progress before you are ready to fly a model like this ;) But it's totally doable, if you dig it, go for it! :D
Way cool! who doesn't want to be in the cockpit? The 360 really makes a difference on approach. To pan over and see where you are in relation to the runway is super cool. Awesome video 👍
So cool how you can look side to side in the cockpit! Specially setting up your base to final.must take a lot of getting used to landing only looking thru your display.amazing.i want one!!
This is also my dream back in college when i was a kid, but considering someone already brought a SU-27 in the states. I now have an aim that I need to work extra harder to earn myself that fortune to eventually buy the other Su-27 and fly it before I die. Thanks for the video, but I wish I'll be flying the real one one day, and am working hard on that.
Not really but yes... depends on what context we do take... First and foremost I'm flying FPV while seating on a chair so it's not like I'm gonna fall off. Flying standing can be a problem with goggles on. Some people get used to it, up to personal preference! Then again... this wasn't my first FPV aircraft. I DO NOT reccommend starting in FPV with a fighter jet. I did not get disoriented when I first flew this jet with goggles on, but I lost ground references on my third FPV flight ever on an Angel S 30E, which resulted in me losing the aircraft, as it went too far away and lost video signal. Never recovered it. I personally have not become light-headed, felt nausea or 'physiological' disorientation when flying FPV, not even when I was starting, but years of PC simulation could be the reason why. For many people that are not used to assign a moving image with a stationary equilibrium, this is a real issue. If that is the case, most people eventually overcome it with training ;)
You just ignited my memories with Ace Combat 4, hahaha, I Remember Unlocking Su-37 (Our Mother Russian Jet) for the first time and always stay up all night using it in every missions, after that, i always dreamed to be a Flanker Pilot in the Russian Air Force but i went to Spetsnaz instead, Good Video Man!

0.5 A on climb is ridiculous. Is it correct?
Otherwise could you share details on the head tracking system? Servos? Step motors?
Head tracker is Fatshark Trinity internal module, pan servo is a Turnigy 180D.
The amps reading is not correct, the sensor was capped to 40A so I disabled it entirely. ;)
This is a game changer right here!! 🙌
AMAZING 👏
Thank you!
Wish more people got into FPV jets! :D
@@Airguardian uwelcome 🍾🙏and true.
This makes flying these planes so much easier due to line of sight coordination
To a degree. Some things are easier, some are more difficult. It's pretty maneuver specific.
Super flying like a real su-35 great 👍
