  • A fantastic Plug'n Play (PnP) that works!
It was great to plug this in and be up and running in minutes.
The Kaico Labs HDMI adapter is a great build. You will need to plug in the supplied USB mini2 (B) to USB2 into a power supply but this is a small price to pay to get a great outcome.
I plugged this old ‪@SEGAEurope‬ Saturn into my Sony Bravia and was happy with what I got.
You will need to change whatever picture profile you have set up to "GAME". This will limit the possibility of lag. On the bottom of the adapter is a 16:9 or 4:3 switch. I highly recommend 4:3 as this was the console's original native setting.
You have to remember, that adapters like these rely heavily on the quality of your TV and the settings of your TV. If you have a cheap 4K TV and you have all the TV's processors running at full. A perfect example is the terrible "Motion smoothing" setting that many people are guilty of. Turn the settings off. Did your CRT TV have these all theses extra settings? Nope.
You want the best "True" In & Output, then you will see this (and other console adapters) work at its best.
It's a 5***** from me and I will be sure to see if Kaico has adapters for my other retro consoles.
