Absolutely, and they mostly work, especially at higher difficulty levels
Super interested in this one. The price seems right on the preorder, too. Might wait for your official review to come out just to hear more thoughts on it before I preorder though, but it looks good.

Oh, hi Mike, thanks for the presentation. This is going to be an easy backing for me. Altough the board strikes me as unnecessarily busy, art wise.
Mindclash said they are making the colors and contrasts clearer for the final version, so hopefully that helps
Well, I heard something similar like that during the campaign with Septima and the final board was, well, worse. 🤷🏻♂️

Excited to see your review next week. I mostly play games solo or coop, so this solo mode does appeal. It does look like it’s got some jank, but the difficulty does look to be there. Do the higher difficulty modes change significantly?
Higher difficulty mostly adds more units and makes them activate more. So it does increase the challenge quite a lot

Seemed rather repetitive once a Totem came out, what with the attacks eating your entire action and thus all forward progress coming to a halt. That looks like it could be equally true of two player games...
It’s not as bad in 2-player because many cards can’t move units, so once they’ve used the core card that does they won’t be running every turn. The bot of course doesn’t have this limitation
That board art is so overwhelming… makes it hard to see (May only be like that on camera)
It’s… okay. I do wish the movement paths were more clear for forests, for example, but it’s usually pretty clear
The game shown here is a preview copy, the colors on the final board will be improved, aiming to address the issues Mike raised in the comment above :)

mmm I like the card but the map is a bit... not clear... maybe is how I see in the video. Anyway following the campaign the price seems resonable
