considering it actually changed something semi-significant about the balance, it's not massive-massive but compared to what we've been getting it's pretty big
my guy one buff isnt major. comparatively it is, sure, but is it major in the sense of new weapons, valve made war paints, new contracts, something MORE than semi-significant, and hell no, its not pretty big; It's hype, thats about it. (i do love that we have a kinda update though)
Now we need a buff for some of Heavy's melee weapons. As much fun as Heavy can be he's in desperate need of more variety. Currently he's only got three play styles. Spam mini gun, fat scout and Steak Sandvich heavy (Normally using Steel gloves or Killing Gloves) which barely gets used. Compare that to the rest and that's a tiny amount.
You could do the exact same thing with the axtinguiser/postal pummeler for years tho and it's still the worst secondary. Sure, now its not the worst weapon in the game anymore (hello sandman) but its still bad.
We technically got a major update if you think about it…

Are we so desperate for balance changes that this minuscule bug fix is somehow viewed as a significant change to the meta?
I mean, its a bug fix but it is a massive buff to The Gas Passer and the Neon Annihilator especially
