Hello, thanks for the video. From your experience, is there any significant differents between kyosho ball diff. Version 1 and the latest one kyosho ball diff version 2? And if i have to choose between kyosho ball diff (ver 1/ver 2) and pn racing ceramic ball diff, which one do you suggest? Thanks before.

This is what I’m trying to find out too. Just picked up v1 diff today for $20 so I hope there isn’t a design limitation on the v1 that made Kyosho release the v2.

Love the detailed explanation in your video tutorial. Wondering if you knew why was the Kyosho ball diff v1 replaced for v2? Was there a design flaw that brought about the v2? Which one do you prefer? Also, I'm running almost "box stock "mm chassis so I'm wondering if the added rotational weight will actually slow it down with a v1 diff and throw off the weight balance with the extra weight of the metal components. Thanks for your help!

I don't know why. I feel like they seem about the same.
BTW, I run a stock plastic diff on my fastest Mini-z and my GLR. They work perfectly.

@@EXPIOWA I heard that the stock diff is faster. Just threw in a v1 I picked up for 20$ but I’ll need to put it on a track to see if it makes any difference. The weight difference from stock is quite significant so I know the rotational weight has to make a difference on speed.. thanks for the reply! Gbu

Just ordered my first car. Where do you get parts? Everywhere I check on line they are out

I get the majority at my local Hobby Town but occasionally Ebay if its difficult to source. I have even ordered parts over the phone from Tracks Hobbies in Madison, Wisconsin. They are great people.
