    Love what you have done with the doors, to save lifting doors would look really great concertinaed and still give you a small or wide opening to your paint shop.

    Very good choice with the doors, they are, as you say, very cheap and very rigid, and they are light enough to be lifted around with ease, A very succinct explanation about the source of light relative to aperture as well, deep shadow is the last thing you need in there, the only thing that could be a problem is that your access door has the catch on the outside, whereas you will be on the inside ! I can see you will be spending the winter in there !

      @@D3Sshooter Ha Ha ! I noticed that there was a catch on the outside as I did the same on my log shed, I made a simple link to the inside in case the wind blew the door closed.

    Having the heating/ infrared panels installed- for awhile how are the working? I’m setting up a booth and see a lot of various inferred panels advertised mostly the 3k panels in sets of 8. Wondering if this is something to explore. I have not seen the type of panels you installed.

      Thanks for the comments, they work great... I have four of them and can get upto 40 degrees inside during a cold winters day... far end infrared... works great as it heats the surface not the air

    I'm no painter but we always had complaints from our paint shop if silicone was anywhere near the paint booth or vehicle.

    • @D3Sshooter
      @D3Sshooter  5 лет назад

      TheHoipoloi , indeed that is a painters nightmare silicone as it causes fisheyes in the paint and is very hard to remove or clean. Here the seals are behind the insulation panels. So should be no problem

    1) could you consider using a lot of led strips? 2) why didn't you put the lights lower? Will you have enough light in the lower area?

    • @D3Sshooter
      @D3Sshooter  5 лет назад

      These lights are LED but not LED strips, the reason is that you want to cover it up with plastic to protected from paint. On my lights I place a peace of clear plastic every 3 jobs. Works great. Also LED strips are to hard ( light wise) as he surface is to small. So far I had no issues with the light. I can always add additional stand free LED lights if needed like for the inside of a car

    Hey hey, misschien aan de late kant maar hoop dat u het alsnog leest. Kunt u mij vertellen welke armaturen u precies heeft? In een ander filmpje geeft u namelijk €80 op voor 5 armaturen. Ik kan namelijk hier in Nederland geen armatuur incl led buis voor €16 per stuk. Wel waterdichte armaturen maar ook die zijn nog iets prijziger. Welke maat is het, 120cm of 150cm?
    Verder Chapeau 👍🏻👏🏻 ziet er behoorlijk professioneel uit voor een DIY! Zeker vergeleken met mijn Easy Up tent van 3,0x4,5m. Uiteraard moet ik ook hier goede ventilatie in bouwen en zo kom ik op nog een punt. Heeft u misschien een link naar de filters die u heeft gebruikt want ik ben mezelf scheel aan het zoeken 🙈

    • @D3Sshooter
      @D3Sshooter  4 года назад

      Hoi,
      Deze 120cm en waren toen een speciale aanbieding. Filter kocht ik bij een supply shop voor spuit cabines in Nederland

      @@D3Sshooter bedankt voor het reageren. Ik heb wel 120cm ip65 led batten gevonden en besteld. Deze week installeren dus benieuwd. Ik had via marktplaats een advertentie gezien met speciale spuitcabine filter voor weinig geld. Was een bedrijfsadvertentie dus heb een rol gekocht. Wtw-filtershop.nl komt het vandaan dus niet eens een Paint supply.
