I remember every single "new" PCD lineup listed here and being so hype for it only for it to fizzle out. GRL was on the way up and Simone's passing still saddens me cause they were right on the cusp of being huge. Great video. If Robin is planning a new girl group I'm curious to see the direction

Fascinating video! I had no idea Robin Antin kept trying to make PCD (after v2.0) happen for that long. It kind of reminds me of how Brian Lukow has kept trying to make the concept behind Huckapoo/the songs he wrote for Huckapoo happen for 15+ years, most recently in the 2019 movie Drama Drama he wrote. At least Robin changed the songs (I hope)!

This is my new favourite channel learning so much about girl groups I didn’t know much about before hand as most don’t make it very far here in the uk Although the reverse also happens because some of our best girl groups are unheard of stateside (girls aloud and the Saturdays being good examples )
