I am confused by this. I used to grow mushrooms for medicinal purposes when I was young, and I wore a face mask, sterilized my forearms and wore gloves. Is this not a necessary process? You don't get contaminated bags?

Thanks for the message! It is for many types of fussy mushrooms but oyster mushrooms are so rampant they don’t need such measures
