Thanks a lot for this lesson! Found out a lot in common with Russian sayings, I would say Canadian sayings are totally the same. In my opinion it means an interesting fact: despite people live in different hemispheres, they have the same values which we name folk wisdom.

After a long time your lesson destroyed my brain. I mean in a good way. I tried to do more interaction. When you said that idioms I tried to find Czech version of it and I can say It was really difficult. I don't use them actively in my language at all.
