Say “Pat Boone, Debbie Boone”. You can do it as slowly as you like. The Pat and Debbie are snare hits. The Boones are tom hits. The first one, the “Pat” Boone is a high tom. The second one, the “Debbie” Boone is the floor tom. Snare, high tom Snare, snare, floor tom. …and, of course, whenever you hit your crash cymbal, you hit the kick drum with it.
