That magazine looks like it needs some stippling where your pinky wraps around in the front. Pearce has some nice stippling on their +2 magazine grip extension/baseplates. If Magpul did that on this magazine, it would be a lot better. By the way, looks like you need to get yourself a Maglula UpLula mag loader. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny.
today is 3/15/23...I just bought alone 12 rd mag for a niche application...condition 3 setup for Ruger PC Carbine in 'compact mode' with Magpul Backpacker stock! after barrel is removed the 2 halves lock together with connecting point in the stock; I have 1-1.5mm clearance in the compact mode!
Was wondering how the Magpul is working on the 26.Have you been to the range.Any issues?Like to here from anyone who has experience with this mag over time.Thanks!
Bob Eugene , I’m still using the Magpul 12 rounder in my G26 for everyday carry. I almost always have my CM9 and G26 with me. I’ve found that the feed-lips can be easily nicked up a bit if I’m not careful in seating the 11 cartridges in prior to stuffing that last one in. (Slap the loaded mag on my thigh from the back to shift all cartridges to be flat against the rear wall of the magazine) I still recommend this setup since it is about as small as you can get for a 12 round magazine. If it isn’t abused by dropping it, throwing it around or haphazardly loading it, then it is a great solution for having 12 rounds available in my first magazine vs the factory 10. My spare magazine is a OEM Glock 19 with 15 rounds.
Yes, I’ve been using daily for about five months. The Magpul 12 rd in the G26 and a spare 15 rd magazine. Goes everywhere with me. My CM9 is my pocket gun, the G26 is everything else and also an occasional pocket gun.
