That Heuschkeliana made me cry too😅Normally, I'll just get rid of stressful plants. But, I love her so much!! I'm still dreaming of the day when she'll be hanging from the ceiling looking full and lush!

I think using a prop box or a zip log baggy, even two cups taped to each other creating a small humidity dome will help your heuschkeliana out a lot, as long as the stems are still healthy. There are some hoyas who really need high humidity whilst rooting but after they put out their first leaf, you can slowly let them get used to your room humidity. For heuschkeliana, its better to root in pon or even stratum. I only root in water when the cutting is healthy.
Waymaniae cloudy sky will put out the most splashiest leaves in high light. My wilbur graves puts out almost full silver leaves when it gets less light, as it grew closer to the light the leaves reverted to full green which I chopped off.
Would recommend you to check out upt’s trellising guidelines, that will help ur larger leaved hoyas to carry on growing instead of stopping once they reach the top of the trellis. Your carnosa freckles splash is my fav, I hope I can get a specimen like that here and thank you for doing an update, really shows me I am not alone in this learning journey and experimenting😊

No drainage? Wow! That’s impressive. They are thirsty that’s for sure.

Well, the heuschkeliana I have is doing okay, still in soil, but recently, I shared a cutting in PON, and I rooted another in PON. So far so good. Maybe there was something wrong with the plants. So frustrating. I water the soil plant frequently. The others are semi-hydro.

That’s amazing! So glad you’re getting success. Yeah sometimes the plant itself is not quite robust and can give problems. I’m determined though. 😅

Aww. Sounds like you could doing something right with your plant. Everyone’s growing conditions are different. Yours could be better than mine for this plant. Or you’ve figured it out and I’m still working on it. Happy growing! 🤗🪴

Hi Stephanie!...really enjoyed this video. I like your " Carnosa Wilbur Graves Russia" Hoya. The name is kind of wild. I'm curious...how many plants do you have? Indoor and outdoor. I can see you are very passionate about plants. Take care! June 22,2024🇨🇦🇨🇦

Hi, thank you for watching. Yes, I agree, Hoya names can be a little strange. 😅
I probably have about 60 different indoor houseplants. I have a vegetable garden and a few different flowering plants outside that come back annually.
