I just discovered this on my multicade and holy crap is it fun! lol. The music is oh so sweet! The visuals are mesmorizing! It gives me them feels i had watching my brother play Galaga on his Atari2600 for the first time as a kid lol. Edit: This guy is a total SHMUPS Chad!

All three characters must have different shot and power types, plus having a surviving (current or in stock) Mahou character. There's a forum that specifies what shot and power types are... although maybe you already found it. Edit: to further elaborate on this run's example, you have Search/Beam (Strawman), Vulcan/Garegga (Flying Baron) and Front/Napalm (Car-Pet) for Shot/Power types, and as you can see, all three are different.
During the second to last stage the player both could not destroy all 4 big circular turrets and did not end the stage with a Mahou character in stock despite destroying all 3 big rocket launching platforms, so both Glow Squid and Bashinet-R boss fights were respectively not triggered
