This is with doing something in stages that requires to destroy certain enemies, the other prerequisite is that you must have a ship of that series in reserve or active (and not dead) by the time you beat the major bosses. Tsumujimaru, Hayatemaru and Black Heart II requires some ship mix-ups (having different types for each team), while fighting off all 3 main rivals in High Way requires to trigger a "Special Level Up" when picking a Shot or Option power up while having 1 main Batrider character active.

The thing is, they actually rely a lot on RTA runners for feedback on strategy, like overall route and resource management. "Yeah, you get a big cancel if you bomb here, but we usually save it to reveal the medals in this section." Where TAS shines is in looking at the game under a microscope and determining how to optimize any given situation, or occasionally finding unexpected behaviors that get worked into brand-new techniques. Some of them even end up being done in RTA runs!

あれ、魔法大作戦のボスがいる
要所要所で隠し要素を満たした上で、各該当勢力キャラ(ガレッガや魔法系)が生きていると、隠しボスや隠しステージが出る仕様ですね
例えば大きな家を破壊してから看板を倒す(ステージ1)、青い大型の広翼機を全機倒す(空中戦ステージ)、などでこの要素を達成したら「Good!!」や「wonderful!!」などゲーム中でも言ってくれてますね

一番嫌いなやり方だな、
一応あの自爆にもちゃんとした理由があります。このゲームには「ランク」というリアルタイムで上がっていく数値がありましてね、上がれば上がるほど敵の耐久力が固くなったり攻撃が激しくなったりと、だんだん手がつけれない難易度になっていくんです。そのランクを落とすためにわざと自爆を挟んでるって事ですね。
要は「ド派手に稼ぎつつ、適度に自爆してランクを抑えて進めている」って考えて頂ければ。
ランク調整すら知らないのね・・・。(ガレッガも自爆でランク押さえないと無理ですよ・・・。)
