One of the best trailers I’ve ever seen. I actually thought youtube was glitching.
It’s original, interesting and the trailer glitching absolutely fits the universe and story of GITS. Seriously. When I was watching this I thought “this trailer is so GITS”.
I do miss old Motoko though - but it does seem like somethig worth watching at least once.
Please reignite this series, it was a masterpiece and I think it should be produced further.

Watched this on Netflix the other day, fantastic story and animation, dub quality is also top notch. Well worthy of being part of such an astounding franchise.
Anything related to project IG always has good dubs.
The only dubs i'll listen to are for ghost in the shell.

Sometimes she spoke as a native speaker, sometimes she had really huge accent. It's not how russians speak english at all, but I think was ok after all.

Wow, I had no clue this was ever dubbed. Actually sounds pretty good, unlike pretty much every dub I've heard recently. Sounds like something straight out of early 2000s for once.

Last night, I finally watched the original movie (Happy New Year, BTW), and now I’d like to get my hands on this.
I spent far too long not watching this because of silly videos on RUclips saying it wasn't good, and not like the original etc. When I finally watched it, it was excellent! A very worthy addition to the GITS universe.

Just watched the first movie and I was very impressed with it. It was very interesting seeing a younger version of Major as well as the other characters around her. This movie was much an origin story of the Major and how she came to be and it works. If they really wanted to they could fit it into the same universe as Stand alone and/or even the original movie. It reminded me of DmC ( I HATE THAT GAME) and Tomb Raider but done right. Keeping elements and references from the original series while also making something new (which this film had done very well.)
The Final Score fo this film is a: 9/10! I want to give it a 10. But there was just some minor things that keep me from doing so which I can’t talk about because Spoilers, But It is still a great movie and I highly recommend it.

I wanted to know where to find the song so badly that I actually emailed Funimation about it and they said their trailer music is usually produced in-house. So unfortunately it's unavailable except in the unlikely event that they release it on its own.

Tried to whatch this anime when came up but after 1ep felt really boring for me but in reality was me not paying attention. Today Really put the effort and I found a really good story crafted story, great animation and in general a well made anime.

I still prefer the character design of Major Kusanagi on the 2005 - 2007 series. She looks like Eori Sei's Mother from Gundam Build Series.
