I'm SO glad I found this tutorial! I just had brain surgery so don't have the energy to spend an hour or more getting a cute color on a wig so this was perfect for me! Made it super easy and I am now the proud owner of a perfectly dyed gray-brown wig that took like 5 minutes worth of actual work
Great video. I really wish you wrote in your description what products you’re using, though. I’m patient so watched again to catch that. Adore’s lavender and periwinkle are what I’ve tried and compared. Like periwinkle much more for lavender hair. Lavender has more red. Periwinkle would be a great toner, too. I want to mix with these, now. Thanks That’s what I do to my 613 and all extensions, too. I soak in water mixed with whatever stain. I hate shimmer lights though! It’s been around forever but it smells bad and is so harsh on hair! Doesn’t make me shimmer. I like the liquidy leave on stuff though. Maybe that’s a diff brand… think so. But from Sally’s the gold bottles called I think brilliance are sooo much better. Purple shampoo and conditioner that actually condition and smell like grape candy. I can’t believe shimmer lights is still so popular. Guess people don’t experiment enough and cosmetology school hasn’t updated their material in 60 years. I always over tone, cause hair fades fast. And I don’t mind purple or blue cast, just don’t want yellow/orange. Xo I’ve watched hundreds of videos on this same topic, literally, and it’s hard to find useful ones. Yours is simple and to the point. Thanks. I don’t need to watch an hour as people apply due to their hair. Or just explain without showing. Or not show it immediately or don’t show it dry. This is BEAUTIFUL I’m about to try it on my real hair lol I’m ordering the hair color on Amazon as I type this!!! I just hope it fades okay, if not I’ll just use a clarifying treatment I guess. I just love the water color idea because it can fully saturate my hair. My hair is always SO uneven and muddy looking after toner.

With the the platinum hair dye, is that needed to get the grey look , or could I just by titanium? And lastly because this is my first time , what products should I by to bring my wig back life ? Both colors have different undertones , platinum has blue under tones and titanium has purple under tones so depending on the color you want you might only need one of the two colors but i like both so mixed them . & I recommend silicone mix conditioner and shampoo to help bring your wig back to life
Yep. Just watch it. I think it’s better to overtone, though, cause it fades so fast and the goal is no warmth, right? I like adore cause it’s a sheer gelly like consistency so it’s easier to get evenly distributed. I thought it would not be pigmented enough cause it’s sheer, but been pleasantly surprised. I’ve been re/researching for the millionth time today to decide what to get next for me hair before my new extensions are installed, and after watching this I think I’m gonna try these adore colors, next. They’re affordable on Amazon and easy to find. I’ve tried lavender and periwinkle, also could be diluted to use as toner. I like the coolness of periwinkle better, the lav was too warm for my desired results. Wonder what these two are like on their own? I’m guessing platinum is more purple and titanium more blue, hence they work well mixed to really get out any orange and yellow in lightened hair. White is the hardest to get and maintain. Good think I like overtoned hair :)

Its just an easier and quicker way to spread the product throughout the hair evenly
