I’m working on a wig 613 to steel gray. Like you, this is my favorite color not only because it’s different, it’s the same as my own hair. Premature gray is so, so different from normal black/brown hair, it can definitely pick up far too much purple so the balance can definitely be somewhat difficult to attain. Damn I just took titanium on a closure. Hot tap water mixed adore into it. Swished and BANG. I FINALLY GOT GREY HAIR. gorgeous natural color. Thank you so much I had the piece n the adore for months was to afraid to try then saw your video and said let’s just do it. Thank you so much❤
I always tone my hair wet or damp. More wet. It works better than dry. Dry hair sucks up too much color and can be blotchy. This wig came out thee most gorgeous color. Its my fave

I water color my wigs all the time. Your hair turned purple bcuz adore base is purple. So you will get a grey color with an undertone of purple. It says it in the bottle

try a toner next time, WELLA t14 andt18 to be exact! :))
That happened to me it was blue more then silver I used the powder Ajax and it started taking that color off and it was left silver
