I really like how this vlog actually turned out. The way it was edited not very boring to watch. I like the first part where Mike prepares coffee and the last part of Nelly doing some shopping. I get to see the “whole” thing without getting bored. Keep it up guys!
Hey, always remember that your community supports you. Keep making it happen the way you want it. You might feel certain things do not go your way but you can charge it to experience, besides you need drama in your vlogs once in a while. Just to remind you guys when you got your motorbike please be careful on the road because not all Filipino drivers went to driving school and some doesn’t really know the traffic rules and laws on the road , just be careful on the road 💖
Some of them even got their driver's license by bribing corrupt LTO officials !
The Bureau of Immigration is at Intramuros, just a block away from the Manila Cathedral. Perhaps one of your subscribers is either an immigration lawyer or had connections to one? If you are planning to go to the Bureau of Immigration, go early. They open at 8am, if I am not mistaken.

No worries. Just relax. We enjoy chill, relaxed, and average daily videos once in awhile. It's just part of anyone's life and it's refreshing to actually see other aspects of your lives. I mean you can even do videos of even personal thoughts and reflections (on rainy days when you can't go out). Or perhaps do some adventures in the kitchen by doing some cooking videos. Or even make tutorials... So much ideas for content. But yeah, just keep on being yourselves because that's what draws people to you guys. The sincerity. Keep making it happen!
Hi Mike & Nelly, don"t worry! Aside from travel & food vlogs, we also love to watch our favorite vloggers post a "a day in a life" kind of video. It's nice to have a peek of your personal life from time to time...it's not boring, anyway! 😍
Raw vlogs are like photos without filters. Very authentic. 👍
For cheaper groceries, you may try buying at Puregold or SM Supermarket/Hypermart 😊. Not a lot of super high-end choices like that of Rustan's though.
Try landmark supermarket. 😊 cheaper than Rustan’s sometimes even cheaper than SM.
Agree that Landmark is the cheapest in the area, plus wider selections!
Aside from that (landmark) there's imported section that you looking for... Try SnR for imported goods but in much higher price range... Try some local products you cant go wrong with the taste and qualities as well :)
Better buy at Landmark Supermarket Nelly & Mike.. Its Cheaper than Rustan & SM Supermarket.. I assure you. 😍😍😍
Landmark is definitely cheaper & has a wide selection of international goodies. SM Advantage membership is actually a disadvantage knowing that most items cost several pesos yes pesos not cents more compared to Landmark.

Yep. Work your way through the markets around. Maybe watch Solenn (Erwan's sister). She has a vlog about going to public markets and that's where she usually buys fresh local produce (In cognito, of course because everyone will recognize her) It's cheaper and fresher than the weekly popup market in Makati. Go where the locals go.
Even whwn it's a sitdown vlog I still like watching you guys. No boring time.

Saw on insta stories your furniture say move in and now im here... i do appreciate these everyday stuff. When in the Philippines if I don’t ship (a month before arrival by cargo ship) in my wine myself before hand, I drive back to the international airport they have a decent wine cellar selection along with spirits etc.

just additional info. to avoid get ripped off, if you need any documents that needs a notary stamp just go the parking area beside the immigration office in intramuros behind BDO bank, its P300 only there compared to other places that will charge you crazy amounts.

Nelly and Mike as long as you have a daily vlog, we as your subscribers will watch you. You can show us your shopping hauls, how much you spend on them, what and how you plan to cook them, how you make your coffee, how you make juices, etc. You can vlog about anything that you do and I’m sure we will still watch it. You’ll be surprised how you’ll get viewers on any raw vlog, just always make it real and I’ll still look for your daily vlog. Don’t think too much of the content, people love to know the real you! As your subscriber, I support both of you all the way. Whenever I go to my phone, iPad, or big screen TV and it starts with an AD, i never skipped any AD as my way of supporting you guys. Enjoy your life. Makati is my fave city before I migrate to US in 2001.

Makati has changed so much! Last time I walked those streets was 2004. I really need to relive those days that I was one of those busy bodies. I do hope you'd still be living there when I happen to walk those streets again.

Mike&Nelly, try to drop by again at the makati stock exchange/ayala triangle,pretty near ur place. Theres a sign there that says Make it happen Makati! Definitely Makati is where you guys belong!
Hey guys, I felt the same about grocery shopping when I moved back from California. I’m a big Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s shopper since there’s like 3 branches around my house. For other options, you can go to Landmark in Makati for just basic stuff (local & imported). For your gourmet needs, you can check Santi’s, there’s one in BGC behind Central Square and Rockwell in Makati. I think they supply Rustan’s Marketplace. Santi’s also carries wine in their stores. I know in SM Aura lower ground floor there’s a wine store and Jupiter St in Makati has several wine stores. It might help if there’s someone who’s knowledgeable. Another good place to check for wines is La Petite Parisienne, there’s one in Makati. You might like that 😉😉😉 Hope that helps :)

You can probably do a vlog on comparing grocery stores in Manila like Rustans SM and Landmark . You can also feature healthy food store called Healthy Options.
Don't be surprised tip: most tomatoes in PH are on the green, yellow to orangy shade. I don't know why people love green tomatoes here (must be the crunch) and they're easier for transport. The big red ones you usually find in Europe are quite uncommon here.

I'm a Filipino living in Los Angeles. Working from home can be boring so I watch your videos on my iPad everyday. You guys keep me company so keep posting videos. Last week of July I'll be in Manila. I hope you could arrange a Meetup with your followers. Would be nice to meet you in person. Try halo-halo, taho, banana cue, and turon. They are my favorite desserts.
