Yeah I agree it's a lot of car for the cash. Also, I appreciate the fact you don't take a new car that someone is going to buy and beat the crap out of it like many other RUclipsrs. Good work!
I think that GM is going to regret dropping that reliable and powerful V6 on their larger vehicles. In my opinion these smaller engines with turbos are not going to have the longevity that the 3.6 V6’s have.
Finally an Third gen traverse and Acadia. The Third gen Enclave is coming next year and I am hoping the Next Generation Blazer comes at the 2029 model year
When are these available to the public?! I’m here in California waiting on mine…and Chevy can give me NO real answer. I’m hearing September. Please tell me I am wrong….
I think I'd like it more, cept for the tiny 2.5L for that size of car. To compensate, they put in the turbo. Seems to be the trend these days, smaller engines and throw in a turbo. Wish they had at least a 6cyl.
I'm not too pleased with a 4 cyl for that size of car. Then again Ford has been doing it for years in their Explorer model. If you really want the torque, you'd get a Tahoe, which is pretty much the same size, but sadly double the cost.

Strange how all these new GM products don't have "auto brake hold" which allows you to take your foot off the brake pedal as you sit for a long red light. It's a nice feature found on almost all other lines of vehicles, but I notice not on this Traverse, or the new Equinox or Trailblazer, or the GMC line. hmm...
Turbo engines The majority of the driving public do not know enough about engines, turbos, cubic inches, torque and horsepower to care. Just like an air compressor, the higher the pressure you run it the shorter the life of the pump, a car engine is a pump. Turbos pressurize the engine to falsely make it put out more power and you have Turbo lag before it engages. The 4 cylinders lose power as they get more miles on them, there is no substitute for cubic inches, horsepower and torque in a naturally aspirated engine. I have built engines and turbo's boost the pressure into the small engines creating more power at the expense of the life of the engine. Your maintenance cost will exponentially increase with a turbo when it fails. Any economy you may have gotten from the turbo will be totally lost on the replacement cost of the turbo. This vehicle is way too large/heavy for a 4 cylinder. A long list of gadgets will not negate the lack of power from a 4 cylinder, not to mention the turbo lag when you need all the power from the small 4 cylinder. GM has lost this customer. We have a 2017 ACADIA V-6, 34 MPG highway.

How does it compare to the Z71 in terms of ride comfort, NVH ? This trim does not have the acoustic windshield that Z71 has.

An amazing offering for the price.

We have them here in TN
Chevy change a game with this & I buy this.
I’m considering it but it’s to much plastic inside and I don’t want pay 56k for the z71 with options
Great review.
I don’t know why it use 2.5t instead of keep previous V6. And this 2.5t engine using 0w20 oil, are you crazy GM
43 is a Lot for a traverse. I can wait for a 4 runner

Why so late with the 2024 Traverse? It should have came out the last part of last year
There were production delays it wss supposed to start building in january but didnt start until march april i think.

More to satisfy emission norms
This really is a full sized SUV! They dropped the V6. 😮
It’s one of the largest middle sized
