There's def something up with people getting sick more frequently
I had 2 cane corso (liter mates, male was 110lbs, female 80lbs) and they were the best and most friendliest dogs i have ever had. They were 3 when my son was born and he was their best friend and would never show any signs of aggression towards him even when he was a baby and would cry or anything he would do as a little kid or baby. My friend came over when my son was about 1.5 yo and was learning to walk and he picked him up very quickly (like some would toss a kid in the air) and both corso lunged at my friend (like they were going to attack him) and i yelled "NO" and they stopped immediately as if i hit the stop button on a remote. Its all about how you raise them and train them. If people dont give a shit and never train the dog, well then the dog wil train you and do whatever it wants.
Like Ceser Millan said "theres no such thing as a bag dogs, just bad owners" "If you give only 80 percent leadership, your dog will give you 80 percent following. And the other 20 percent of the time he will run the show. If you give your dog any opportunity for him to lead you, he will take it"
Also my dogs were very friendly with other dogs and cats and never got in to a fight (thankfully) with any other animals. If you properly integrate them to people and animals, they typically won't have issues with other animals. And in case you don't know, the Corso breed has one of the highest bite force in all dogs. They are known for breaking bones with ease.
Guys, Forrest had quite the advantage with Dinosaur names because he is at least lighly familiar with Latin names. Gallimimus for instance is "Bird mimic" and he would probably know that

Raised several pitties. They are awesome but fierce. You HAVE to understand the mentality of the breed. Look for signs of people and dog aggression. Choose the breeder carefully and raise with a firm but loving hand and the pit will respect, love and protect you. They are so strong for their size and meant to be working dogs. They were americas nanny dog for years before bad people used their skill and propensity for violence against other dogs. They are terriers whome all posses that level of aggression when triggered. The difference is the size and strength. Pits are amazing.

I do not believe a dog would be naturally aggressive if raised correctly from birth, I've had various different rescue puppies throughout my life and if you raise them right, with kindness, they will behave as such
Dogs have natural instincts. Them being naturally aggressive isn't the problem. It's the lack of control over it. It's never really about the nature of the dog. It's about properly controlling those instincts and applying them correctly.
That being said. Breeders understand you can breed instincts into a line of dog, such as working line German shepherd vs. a show line. The same is 100% true for pit bulls. By now, there are different lines for the breed. This is something most laymen don't know. I didn't until I looked into it for my dog (a blue heeler). It's WAY more important to get a specific type of the breed you want. My brother got a house dog Pit Bull. She is not aggressive in any way because her line was bred for it. This needs to be spread more, in my opinion. You can get a working line dog, and it will be the biggest hassle to train to be a relaxed house pet. It's doable, but it still wants to do work.

Pitbulls aren't inherently aggressive in any way. The person that buys a pitbull often want's them for aggression and trains it into them.
In a fight they will not back down when injured. This is why they're used for fighting and protection, they won't stop after a bite or knife wound.
They're usually all sweet hearts until trained otherwise.
Pitbulls are breed to defend, don’t be ignorant. Long as it accepts you in its pack it will defend you, as for anyone else they will show aggression to people & dog they don’t know especially if the other gives off bad vibes about a certain person.

I love watching you guys but you guys should really do more research about dogs especially pits bc pits are very sweet and calm dogs but got a bad name bc people trained and breed them them specially for dog fighting but they are nicknamed the nurse dog for a reason bc people used to leave pit to take care of their babies or the pit would take the role of taking care of babies and they are amazing at it

31:10 - this is not case of pit not being "trained" - you can have properly behaving dog with out, so popularized, training. If animal is raised in normal home filled with love and positive atmosphere, when it's not being abused, not observing aggressive behaviours, it will behave normally. Of course you will come across 'broken' individual, like in any other group of animals or humans, but it's bollocks that dogs are aggressive by default just because they are, so called, aggressive breed.

Pitbulls hav a bad name because of the underground dog fighting scene and cuz they r used. They are actually the most sweetest loving dogs. It's not the breeds faults it the people and owners that use them for bad. Other dog breeds like German Sheppards r actually more aggressive by nature and likey to bite. Pitsbulls r not aggressive by nature.

American Pit Bull Terriers are the only dog that should be called a pit bull. The media and general public misidentify them constantly. That big dog growling in that ladies face was not a pit bull.
