I can't believe that guy gets away with saying "call it" 2x and it's not considered a call. That's pretty fucking bad man. Verbal is binding almost anywhere I've ever played. There's a million ways he could ask someone to guess heads or tails if that's what he was implying, and very few of them have the word "call" in them. If I'm the dealer or the floor, I'm ruling that a call. That's a huge angle.
Dang huge angle shoot in the 34dd hand. He should be forced to call by floor since dealer didn’t interject and he said it a second time and nothing about flipping on the second time.

Just because someone raises you when you’re the Initial raiser pre flop on an AK high board which is weird cause ur like “I have all the best hands here” doesn’t mean they don’t have an ace or king, these lower stakes players don’t know what they’re doing just fold and give it to them and extract max value when they do their weird raises with top pair when you’re at the top of your opening or 3 betting range
Regarding the ‘call it’ scenario… 1) Dealers need to take control in the situation and get clarity before people start showing their hands. (I’m a dealer, stupid miscommunication stuff happens constantly. Get clarification now, so there’s not arguments later) 2) people need to protect their hands and not start flipping them over in ambiguous spots. 3) call the floor, let them deal with the stupidity.
I have improved my game so much after watching your vlogs. Please keep them coming and thank you for putting out such great content! Congrats on the milestone!

Be humble, stay focused and be prepared for the nasty side of the variance. Enjoy watching your vlogs. Good luck good luck.
When you 3bet broadway suited connectors are fine but if you open with a suited connector there are a lot of spots where QJs-89s fold a lot while 67s-45s will call 100% and you can even 4bet them at low frequency if deepstacked and villain 3bets wide.
I was just telling my wife that if you did some tournament study you could be a tournament crusher and I completely believe that. Congratulations and good luck in the future Sam.
I'm interested in that min click with KJ for extra value on that 4 liner.....is there any real merit to doing that? Is 2 pair ever even cry calling there? Great read on the situation, but calling just seems better to me. Enjoy the vlogs, your insight is very cool.
I think it's really really nice to find creative ways to get thin value when you're mostly sure you're good in a spot. This also allows our bluffs to get through when opponent is thinking of Hero calling us, it's all about the big picture imo
There are more combos of QJ than JT, and there are more combos of KQ than KT, and there are more combos of Q9 than J9. So even if he calls with most of the 2 pair, seems like you would lose more than half the time if he calls.
Do you have stats on hours played over this challenge? Bb/100 rate? Edit: nevermind im an idiot an its at the end of video. Congrats, thats an insane bb/100 rate.

So on the hand where the guy said “call it” he obviously knew what he was doing. The 3/4 should have asked dealer if he called. But my question is, did the card room manager or dealer get involved in this at all?
Good: that KJ hand, mustache cam placement, jumbo index cards Bad: my ability to get bluffs through this well Neutral: new camera angle Weird: paying rake in advance Wtf
KJ was a fun one! I think the cam placement in top right actually works best, tbh I hate the jumbo cards. Idk how, but a lot of my bluffs get through. I usually only bluff when I pick out weakness though. The prepaid rake was kind of weird, tough to pay $550 like that, as I'm quite frugal, but it does work out cheaper long term
Congrats Sam! Really enjoying seeing your perspective on things. Just wanted to quibble on one hand. I was surprised you were so shocked to the A8 the hand you had 77. Obv it’s bad on his end but I see this nonsense all the time where ppl will raise top pair garbage kicker, range advantage be dammed, bc they want to “see where they’re at”, or protect their equity, or whatever stupid rationale they come up with, I see this stuff all the time. Also I think villain will have a lot of flush draws here. Yea sure occasionally villain will just have complete air but I think the vast majority of their range is either a weak ace or flush, I really dislike a call on the turn, I’d mostly fold or occasionally throw in a raise if you’re feeling froggy, just my imo. Again congrats, looking forward to seeing you play on stream
The combo draw is ahead on the flop in that kings hand, seems nitty but I am pretty sure that's the correct play given the action, you're getting max value from him if you shove since the crazy player will call but then you're just flipping, depends how swingy you want the session I guess?
