How To Lose THOUSANDS Playing 2/5 - An ENTIRE Session Review | Poker Vlog #94
Bad reg. Sorry bud but you won’t turn a profit playing that way.
I refuse to play bomb pots and it hasn’t affected the action I get, so long as I’m not completely card dead
Sam, my n!gga. Tom Dwan, Mariano and other nosebleeders claim to have worked their way up through the stakes. Sam is the only one with documented evidence of having done so. Mariano, Wolf and Rampage all began playing nosebleeds shortly after their highly raked, illegal online games in 2020 🤡
You're still playing with the wrong cards. Don't be surprised when you lose.
Time to hang it up dude
At 9:30 I know you were disgusted with how you played QQ. I will give you some more knowledge about it… First off, if you’re going to 3-bet out of the SB, you should do it to a larger sizing rather than simply 4x. You’re obv going to be playing out of position for the rest of the hand. Most poker sites teach to 3-bet 4x plus any dead money. (When OOP). When BU raises to 15, I would have 3-bet to 70-75. Next the villain bets large on the flop, after you 3-bet preflop. Warning signs should go off. I understand you miscalculated his stack. Lastly, on the turn when you check and he bets 300; this is simply a fold. Villain saw you 3-bet preflop, villain saw you called a chunky bet on the flop. And now V is betting large on the turn. I thought to myself, he AT LEAST has the King of hearts. Which has you beat. Not many players would bluff this spot, and it’s HARD to find bluffs when you have QQ with the Q of hearts.
You gamble too much… you might aswell join me at the bacarrat tables in the high limit room. You used up too many of your “ one times” playing poker. Time to embrace true degeneracy….😅
I really like the honesty Sam. Thank you! Poker is extremely tough these days. Stay in school kids!!!
No footage of the 800$ bomb pot but thankfully you’re recording with the 7 4 suited 😂 make it make sense at least
Confused on how your stack is 560 after losing with A6 suited and the very next hand you’re talking about some bomb pot that you lost 800$ in?
time to unsubscribe, bluffalo become a fish limping 74s btn and q4s co, rip
Poker variance is real and if you play this game long enough you will go through it.
@@Justin-sr1kuits not about variance when you limping trash hands for no reason
So many haters on here. You at the live game. Hopefully reading the table and room !!! Keep on trying ~!
stop playing those double board bomb pots
We appreciate your donations. 🙂
Watching carefully and I think I'm learning "how not to play", lol. stay good.
Played this session live with sam and he is filtering out hands What about the hand you 4bet bluff with KJo then triple barreled your whole stack, 50, 250, 700 on an A high flop vs the same guy that put in 800 with the deuce on 3456 😂😂😂 wrong guy to bluff dude.... And bomb pot call with Q2 was too loose, youre calling hoping to chop that hand and dude overbet all in..
@snowboardinglegend I missed the recording for the KJs hand, idk why you'd accuse me of "filtering" out hands, I post everything to the channel. Q2 was about pot on the river, given the runout it's very unlikely I'm beat on bottom board, and very infrequently I'd be getting quartered given he didn't bet turn.
@BluffaloSam maybe filtering is the wrong word but an 8-900bb pot is pretty substantial why not mention it, a lot of people have never even played a pot that big, could be good for views.....shame you did not get the footage
Def find it interesting you don’t mention a 700 Bb pot that you got caught triple barreling. Doesn’t seem very authentic to capturing the session to not mention that, like you are hiding it.
Your aggressive style does not seem to lend itself into making money. That being said, i love your personality and your content!
when I get the urge to limp queen four suited I know it’s time to go home lol
Just won my local tournament and made $2900 off of $120 buy in!!!! 🎉
I wanna see more video but sometimes a small extended break is necessary to reflect study and just clear your head. I play better when I am excited to be playing and much worse chasing the bad beats.
its close....i'm tilting....i call...classic!!!!!
calling me small blind instead of greg :( you don't want them to know I sucked out on your flopped straight? :')
I'm sorry for your loss but thanks for the videos!
Fold pre
you are not playing well, overlimping BU 74s is dubious. I would take a break and come back to the live felt w a new approach, as hard as that can be at times. Sending you some run good in the near future bro
You really need to stop calculating the math weather you should call or not. If your beat your beat. Fold, save your money and pick a better spot.
It’s important to be able to calculate the proper pot odds to know if you’re getting the right price to call.
Dear, Sam, learn how to bomb pot. The runner runner 8 suck out was ugly though big RIP.
Maybe tighten up a bit preflop? Still love your vids brother, tough run to witness
Edit: it's NLH dbl board, not PLO dbl board, so disregard Hey you breezed over it but you probably misplayed the double board bomb pot hand. Having a straight is not really a strong hand, since there are 12 remaining combos of them. So its fairly easy to freeroll yourself into getting scooped or getting quartered, if you dont have good hand on other boards.
@TheNow_Now it's NLH double board. If we both had the straight it would be a chop.
@BluffaloSam ah, I misheard, disregard
Run bad is real 😢
first
🎉
wtf did i just watch? go apply to the grocery store
You dont dominate any 7 X ok n 733A4 with 10 7 lmao. First hand in and you're already a mess.
Why do you do it bro
Love you Sam 🎉
Hey, man, you suck at poker. You should probably stop!
You're terrible at cards, keep it up, good for the game.
I think Sam is the perfect example of an advanced theoretical player being unable to beat low stakes because they’re overthinking everything
so funny that every vid he puts out these days is just him turbo donking it off
Hey Sam I’m guessing you aren’t reading these atm but.. Gi watch your own vlogs from like #30-50. Your thought process was cleaner. Seems like you’re leveling yourself a lot.
Why not play with an easier lineup? Your goal is to find the softest competition, not to prove something
K4 from UTG is a choice.
2:26 I thought that was a good bluff.
Cause it was that guys a fish for calling that 😂
You don’t think 2mill is a little too high of a goal from $0 ? lol 😂
Physical live tells is one of the funniest things in the poker community. Shaky hands can be caused by - Being old Not having eaten in a while Having too little sugar Having too much sugar Alcohol withdrawal Being cold And being nervous Then even if it is being nervous, people are nervous when they’re bluffing as well as when they have a big hand 😂😂😂 such results oriented bs from simple minded individuals
i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.
i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.
That first pocket kings hand was brutal but should you really be leading out into multiple people with nothing? . The 266 hand, you had a live read and most likely she was bluffing. On the odd chance she was, thats'a. good bluff on her part and just fold. This wasn't your best work.
Big fan. I used to beat 1/3-2/5 over 4k hours at like 7bb/hr win rate. I think you are a good player with a good thought process that suffers a bit from fancy play syndrome. I wouldn't really focus too much on live reads, there are some tried and true tells like the "sigh I guess i'm all in" is always the nuts.. but in general, I would overfold, underbluff, and just bet big when you have it. These guys call down with absolute trash and when you have a strong hand, you will get paid off regardless. Theoretically having bluffs in your range is supposed to make regs pay you off a bit more when you have it because they have to bluff catch at a certain frequency to avoid getting exploited and if they don't bluff catch enough, then you are printing. Fish/recs don't think that way. They just call because they have a piece of the board, so it's just better to underbluff b/c they are super sticky.
@2:23 I've been playing low stakes poker for years and after losing many a hands like Sam losing $500 with 6-5s, I have established not to bluff into 3 players with a completely whiffed board ever. Just check fold and take the 20$ loss.
1-3 player are quite easy to bluff and extract value from. If I have a big hand, I bet twice pot on the flop. If they call, they will call you down with whatever have. Or I bet small on the flop and turn then blast it on the river. They start thinking and seeing all the monsters that don’t exist. Bet 350 into a pot of 120 and watch them snap fold.
