Not exactly, it's 2.838L but good enough. The manual asks for 2.6L. That's why I'm not trying to get out every last drop. Those jugs are 1 US quart (946mL, 0.946L)
I have a 650 vstar also, I see you have the hyper charger air cleaner on yours . Did you notice any difference in power when you installed the hyper charger air cleaner?
Hi, I am a subscriber to your channel, great videos. I recently bought a Yamaha vstar 650 custom, I have a question on clutch release mechanism. As per Clymer repair manual the adjust process is Adjust the Clutch by performing the following: a. Move the clutch release lever (A, Figure 34) forward until it stops. b. The pointer on the end of the lever should align with the indexing mark (B, Figure 34) on the crankcase. c. If adjustment is required, loosen the clutch adjuster nut (B, Figure 12), and turn pushrod No. l (C, Figure 12) clockwise or counter- clockwise until the pointer on the clutch re- lease lever aligns with the indexing mark while pushing the release lever forward. On my motorcycle it is not aligned and I was wondering if this adjustment will make any difference? Currently clutch works fine but friction zone is at 90% release range. Please let me know you feedback. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thank you.
I have a set of ratcheting box wrenches. I can't get the 17mm to fit into the indent to get around the bolt head. What's the trick? Does anyone sell an aftermarket plug in an allen head? Thanks
There is a bolt to the right of the kickstand connected to a nut on the opposite side of the frame. That nut is right in front of the oil drain bolt. If you remove the bolt and nut it will give you more clearance to the oil drain bolt.
Just to be sure does 3 jugs equals 3 litres?

Sweet training, brother. Thanx, man. Peace.
Also nice exhaust tune. Would that be attributed to the air intake or was there more involved?

Great video! What size crush washer should I use? I found this part number 214-11198-01-00 but wanted to verify. Thanks!
I use a mirror on a stick to see the oil level.
Good video. What is the name of that butterfly air filter setup you have?

2.6L oil needed sir for engine oil change? Ty
Great video!
Thanks!
Can I use engine flush?
You sure can. I'd recommend doing it with the old oil filter in place.
@@motorcyclemanthony1552 any recommended engine flush brands?
Should i get a torque wrench for this?
DONT TOUCH YOUR ENGINE WITHOUT A TORQUE WRENCH!
Clear?

Duhhhh Craftsman ratchet wrench and open end are just to fat. I had to buy a generic wrench.

Are you Guyanese by any chance? I hear Canadian accent but I also hear Guyanese
how do you remove the starter?
changing oil every six months is a waste of oil.
Then don't change it.
I'm not leaving old oil in my bike over winter.
