is this a high school? doesnt sound like it we are learning this piece in my band and theirs several problems -percussion entrance was wrong -trumpet entrance was out of tune the entire piece -Brass entrance was usually not together and were very playing pretty much legato the entire piece in sections wanting seperation - Dynamics were bad, they need more contrast -trumpets needed ALOT more work from the director -Every big note died at the end making it sound starved
I love this song but u guys really slowed it down and the horns and trombones didnt match pitch at all! ( Go French Horn that what i play ) Our middle school Wind Ensomble is playing this beter then u no affence :)
My band plays better than this, and we're about 3 grades younger than the people in this band. We actually play this at the CORRECT tempo, play IN TUNE, and play the parts or the song where they're SUPPOSED to go. Unlike this one.
-trumpet was louder then the entire band and needs to be balanced to the pother players -trombone slides were moving and playing in rest - in melody measures in the trombone they played stagato when it should be stagato - you stopped together though congratulations -the trumpet came on an entirely different and wrong note - brass was to soft compared to rest of band at end -Trombones horribly out of tune at end

Our band is doing this and we got all 1s at state band fest. :]
My suggestion would be to speed up a little bit..lol.
My director dared our band to watch this all the way to the end. I just did. Now I'm regretting it.
wow... we sight read this piece better than now i feel bad for the goods these guys will get if they're lucky at MPA

wow terribad percussion section. snare was too quiet. so was bassdrum. and the tambourine was wrong at 2:50-ish

TheAbsoluteEnd 10 years later but 1st trombone plays when the rest of the trombones have rests
The tempo is everywhere, the flute sucks, it doesnt blend together like it shoud. Doesnt even sound like fortress. SUCKS!
