Love this video Dilby amazing sounds here! Had 2 questions: not seeing these project files on Patreon so was just checking if you knew that. Also would be very interested in some more Gorgon videos like how they create a lot of their synths / atmosphere and vocal textural elements specifically on their Escape Terrace Dub album. Thanks bro always learn so much from these!
Hey bro, sorry about that. I had scheduled the post in Patreon for next Sunday 😂. Files are up now. Thanks for letting me know! Regarding the pads, I'm pretty sure they use Omnisphere a lot for that stuff. They also have quite a bit of hardware, including a Roland Juno (106 I think). You could check out the Roland Cloud stuff and flick through some presets. Or search splice or loopcloud for "Juno Pad" samples. I'll try take a listen to the actual song when I have a minute and see if I have any more input.
mk is the most popular in piano house. But he layers 3 pianos on top of each other, which makes the song much thicker. It's also a lot about chord progression, and he's brilliant at that.
‘Normally’ it’s mostly 2 layers. For example 1 Korg M1 and Addictive keys mixed together. But yeah, why not 3? Just use what sounds best. Is that 1, use 1 layer, if it’s 4 use 4. Only the thing is, the more u use, the more it can clash together. Also, I think MK is processing the classic piano sound a certain ‘MK’ way.
Love the video man! So I tried to find the project file on your patreon and its not showing up, think you could post the direct link for the piano rack?
Mk made one of the classic 90's tracks played by all the old skool DJ's, It was "Burning" thats were he made his name, The Italians were the best at this in the early 90's proper piano tracks just look in to some of them tracks all done on real Akia Samplers and keybords,
Thanks bro much appreciated. The main thing I'm looking for is piano house. Just like this video but for some reason piano house courses are hard to come by. There either old skool sounding or just not commercial sounding. This one is amazing
Hey, I explain it in the video. But, I created a multi-sampled version of the Korg M1 piano. Every note that plays is a different recording of that note, so it's playing in a sampler, but every key you press is an individual sample. You can download the project files from my Patreon, and this includes the multi-sampled piano instrument.
Great tutorial. I respect that you are promoting your own pack, but also think it is unfair not to at least mention that the Piano sound is from the classic M1 Piano by Korg. I only mention this because Piano House is one of my favorite genres of house and I remember searching long and hard trying to figure out where that sound came from a while back, until I finally discovered it came from the M1. Just think it would be great for producers who might want to know the history.
Not at all my reason for not mentioning it. I'm not trying to hide anything. The point was to not use the Korg M1 name for my own benefit. I feel that would be disrespectful to say this is from Korg, but just download mine for free instead of supporting their products.

Hey buddy, thanks for your response. I appreciate you leaving the positive comment. I didn't see it until after I responded, which is why I deleted my response. To clarify, I spend minimum 2 full days per week (often more) planning, filming and editing the videos. I make around 120€ per month from advertising revenue so that works out to around 1,90€ per hour (before tax 😂). Patreon is the only way I make anything from the work I do, and even then, it's still not a lot of money. I am not complaining, just explaining so you can understand my perspective. I am happy to share my knowledge and help so many people and I am very grateful for the support and thanks I receive. But honestly, I really don't think 5€ per month is a lot of money given the extra value offered on Patreon. Your welcome in the Patreon community any time 🙏
@@dilbydj Hi Dilby, I suspect that making videos for your tutorials takes a lot of time and time is money, don't worry about that I can understand, I don't blame you on the contrary, but as you must know there are other artists who do the same as you and who from time to time share their projects. Now 5€ or £ per month is still a sum especially at the moment, it's still your choice and I respect it and that's not why I won't watch your tutorials anymore ;) Best wishes DJ_KIK

What settings did you use to make addictive keys sound more like a Korg M1? It has a nice sound to it and more modern.
The rack I made in the video is made by recording the M1 😉
