I’m no longer an anarcho-mutualist, I’m not a civil libertarian and an economic market socialists. I barely got more “conservative”, none the less these guys are a huge impact since I was 16 for this now 36 yr old.
I’m old enough to remember this when it came out sadly. I still tap out the drum beat on my desk at work occasionally. So they must have got something right with this song.
punk is ideology, not music, music is just a medium, through which message is being sent,and as an ideology punk is about using your head by yourself, it is easy to understand but also easy to missunderstand, it"s not something you can read about on wikipedia, or see onTV, it"s something you have to realise, as soon as you start using your head, you are instant part of this ideology. without necessarily aplying a radical dress code, or even having any conections to punk music at all.

what a journey through music i just had, last couple of months working my way back through "converge" and "turmoil" style hardcore from my youth, back through grindcore, thrash, death metal, listened to thousands and thousands of bands and albums recently. with a few detours and deep dives into avant garde and various types of electronic music. then the last couple of weeks finding some of the roots, first "generic" from newcastle, then "bluttat" from germany, and finally these bad boys. bloody awesome tune. and i'm just gonna leave it at this tune, i'm sure they got some great other music. but i'm just leaving it here, having overdosed on so many bands lately, and cos there's something beautiful to me about finding a masterpiece and going no further. did the same with "generic" (the tune "making a killing"). however i did spend the last hour reading about "crass", and bloody hell they were (and still are) cool people. no wonder they were such a big influence on napalm death. this tune is brilliant on so many levels. love it. cheers for the upload anarchoalan

i'm 18, and man i wish my generation didn't suck so much. because we don't get good bands like this. maybe i should be careful with what i wish for. because if a band like this was around today, there would probably be a couple of douchebags at my school who would listen to stuff like this and create some kind of scene or something. that would suck.

I never voted the last time, Labour, Conservative, Liberal, Others. There all the same. Very little difference between any of them. One thing is for sure in my eyes, whoever wins the next election will give themselves a good wage rise and raise taxes to pay for there second homes.
