I love Chuck because his lyrics, riffs and solos all have so much power and raw emotion behind them. For me, Death isn't just a band, it's an invitation to connect with a truly unique and beautiful person who had so much passion and truth in his writing. I also love that Chuck wasn't about gimmicks or pretending to be someone he was not. The genre at that time was for the most part about being extreme and having this "metal" look and persona. Chuck spoke in a soft, mild mannered voice, expressed his love for animals and wore flip flops on stage but was still more "metal" than anyone. It is gutting that I will never see death live or have that opportunity to shake chuck's hand and just let him know how much his music has helped me and shaped me through the years. However, It is amazing to see the metal community still showing their love and personally stories in remembering Chuck. Support music, not rumours 🤘 Rest in peace Chuck
We all die. He died too young, however in those short years his contribution was vast, something which many of us will never be able to claim. Our job in my opinion is to keep the memory alive, not in a mournful way but as fans of something wonderful which deserves to live on and be shared. The music is still fresh today which is truly incredible. Many sight 'Human' as their favourite album. It came out in 1991!
DeathinHD well said mate. It's hard to pick a favourite album but I would have to go with Symbolic. Lots of crushing riffs, colourful melodic sections, intense and memorable solos, and deep meaningful lyrics. Chuck's vocals on this album also stand out as some of his best in my opinion.
That first paragraph alone sums up perfectly how I feel about CHUCK and the legacy of his music and the people he worked with. Nicely said. R.I.P. GODFATHER OF METAL!!!!
I was born with autism the year Individual Thought Patterns came out but was not a fan till my teens when my dad played me Symbolic in the family car during when I was going through a depressing time so Horns Up to Chuck for having his music as therapy through the rough rebellious times in my adolescence years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Chuck because he was a model human being, to my eyes, very humble, nice, calm and educated person, and an extraordinary guitarist and musician. I feel I could sit down with him and talk about music and other stuff for hours, some of those easy going people that you can just talk for a long time without noticing, you know? I really like the fact he wrote about things he saw, things he thought about, the world and life - it all makes his lyrics special to me. Lastly, the passion which he had for what he did, his story, the way he tried to prove wrong the stereotypes about metal lovers, everything was nice about him. I'm aware he was flawed as we all are, but damn, I've never heard of anyone saying one bad thing about Chuck. I hope that, wherever he is right now, that he is happy and well. Hopefully he knows he continues to inspire people to this date.
I noticed one flaw in his playing tho - he didn't try to learn a few new scales and deeply implement them. And also he got easily offended when Death's symbolic tour lineup played zombie ritual without him.
I also love Chuck Schuldiner for those reasons. How I would like to be with someone like him, how I would like to meet him... every time I look at him it makes me want to smile and my heart beats faster and when I remember he died my heart hurts ...
My son is only 2 years old, and when I play Death he stops whatever he is doing and keeps very concentrate listening paying attention to the music. I believe it’s something beyond the lyrics. He was a very talented musician and a beautiful person. I want to say he had some kind of magic
Chuck was of the higher frequency. I don't want to dive too deep into the New-Age quakery here, but chuck was obviously vibrating on another level. His lyrics on SOP and Symbolic were deeply philosophical. Darma, Karma, materialism, judgment. I honestly feel like he obtained some level of enlightenment. There are many reasons to love Chuck. Those are a few of mine. I simply love his enlightened lyrical style and guitar phrasing.
I admire him because his music helped me through depression when I was going through hard times when I was young, and also because he wasn't a typical metal stereotype
Such Is Life You're right, but it's very peculiar for someone who represents death metal. Not saying I like him for that reason in particular, just saying that it's very interesting
Listen to his first album and his final album and its an illustration of his evolution as a human. He achieved his absolute best in life despite dying young. “This power lies within the mind “ - Chuck Schuldiner
I love Chuck because his music has helped me so much. I have a lot of problems and the music just makes them disappear for a moment. Chuck seemed to be a great guy anyways, I wish I could be his friend
I love how he seemed to be positive, he seemed very humble. I was born in 1999, I'm only 17 and discovered them too late. If it ever became possible to time travel before I die, then I'm definitely going back to see Death live and hopefully meet Chuck maybe.
He can literally walk up on the stage in an adidas tracksuit and flip flops and he is still gonna be absolute boss and metal as fuck. And besides his songwriting is amazing really. The construction of Death's music especially in later albums is one of a kind.
I love him because his music has helped me through dark times in my life. From the interviews I've seen, Chuck never tried to act tough or brutal. I think today some men (not all of them) in the underground death metal scene forget how sweet and kind Chuck was as a person.
The man is one of my biggest idols. His blending of melody, technicality and speed inspired me to progress with my guitar playing skill because when I first picked up a guitar, I used to play just four chord, punk rock wonders (Misfits, Black Flag, Samhain etc.) and found myself growing more and more bored of it, then about a year after I graduated high school I started listening to Death, Slayer, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Immortal etc. and listening to Chuck's solos on Human and Symbolic, I said to myself, "Damn, I gotta learn how to do that!" Then learning what kind of guy Chuck was and his outlooks on life, like how genuine and humble he was, I found myself relating to him on a personal level. There'll never be another one like him. RIP
He was extremely talented. His lyrics many times has hit home for me. Chuck had a deep thought process, and was able to put those thoughts and passion in his music. Chuck also loved animals. Chuck cared soo much about family, friends and did everything he could for his fans. Amazing guitarist with clean and growling vocals that was and will always be remembered as a METAL god. His beautiful face and hair makes me melt. Stage presence.. Just omg! Chuck S had it all !! IMO .. R.I.P. DEATHS MUSIC LIVES ON \,,/
I'm identify with imself. He's lyrics are my life, feelings and thoughts. Death live in my life and my mind. The songs of Death help me when I'm feeling loosing control. Chuck is alive in his music.
The reason why I love Chuck Schuldiner, is because even though I never knew him or I am never able to do so, he is always there for me. If Im feeling down, Chuck and his music/lyrics are there to cheer me up and look different on certain things. He makes me a better person, whether its through his music or just how he portrayed himself. Rest in peace, brother.
The music is the most abstract expression from spirit...and Mr. Schuldiner was a man with the strenght to fight with music to create poetry.. masterpieces that could feed our own abstract search for what we have inside or what can achieve..... he is my favorite postmodern poet..he always said something valuable with every note and lyric....and for that deserves my entire and sincere respect...and till those pair of ears work is an honour to hear that man.
As a musician he was both technically gifted and brutally heavy, a rare combination. As a person, he defied stereotypes. But, above all, he loved kitties.
I change your question man! Why wouldn't I love him? HAHA! I mean he's been a inspiration and like a friend to me through his music, it's just amazing how it makes me feel, how it understands me, how it makes me a better person, he's made me appreciate more my family and my loved ones, he's like everything I want to be as a musician, and I can relate a lot not only to his music but to his way to be, he's my hero my inspiration everything. That's why I love him he's just fucking awesome, a family man, someone that looks after his loved ones he's like a role model to me. Wish he was here with us. Rest In Peace Chuck
The reason why I love Chuck is because he was incredibly down to earth, happy, and fun person was always respectful to his peers and elders especially his mother and I really strive to be like that as a person. As for musicianship wise he puts a lot of emotion into riffs or solos that moves me a lot. Now I can't say I'm a die hard death fan as a matter of fact I started really getting into them last december, that's when I realized that he was a genius of musican. And death my soon become my favorite band of all time I just need more time to look at their discography
Chuck never wanted to hide the fact that he was a normal guy. He stayed incredibly grounded through his musical career. I think we all feel connected because we got to know him on a personal level, not only through his lyrics but in every interview we've seen or read, he just seems like a normal guy you would want to hang out with, grab a beer and talk metal with.
I admire Chuck, because I could see (of course on DVD) that he was different. His soul was special, I felt that the guy who was singing and playing guitar was different from the rest of guys (I felt that all of them were special but he was in a different level). I know this sound weird or creepy but I'm not lying. I am a musician and I can recognize that he was a genius, his creation's were excellent, and every single album is totally different than the last one. He was progressing and at the same time breaking limit's in metal, proving that Death Metal can be harmonic, brutal, intellectual and really complex as Jazz music. But I really admire him because he's soul was in a different level than majority of mankind and he vibrate so high and I felt it, by the way, I could see in his sight he was clear and a good person. That night my friends told me he had die 4 year's ago and I felt really bad cause I felt he was a big lost. Now, I know a lot of person's that knew him and were really close with him and all of them feel the same that I feel about him, his soul was really special. That's my reason.
Because i love his personnality, and because he is the best artist i've ever heard, his music is so close to some of my feelings... the ambiance, riffs, agressivity... everything. His one of those person who i want them alive
It's his aura he seemed very understanding like he could see inside of every one but full of positive energy ...even when I hear his songs it's really weird but his voice is very calming to me even though he is screaming!listening his songs feels like he knows me well and we have interaction! really weird!
I love Chuck because unlike a lot of other musicians of the time and even now, Chuck put some much emotion and power into his music. You listen to tracks such as " without judgment " or especially "Voice of the Soul" and you can't help but connect on a deep level, feeling like you've known the creator on a personal level and it touches your heart. His lyrics make you think about the way we interpret things and how to view one another. Personally Chuck changed the way I play guitar and view music and songwriting. Thanks for this opportunity.
I love Chuck because he had a gift for expressing emotion in music. I might not think much of his lyrics if I didn’t hear them in the context of his music. His delivery of the lyrics was always sincere and expressive. This emotion was present in his guitar playing as well. He had a soulful signature style of lead playing. I feel the connection described here due to the way his music makes me feel. There are other factors that influence people’s perception of Chuck, such as his personality, his influence on metal, and the fact that he died young. These play a role in the way I view Chuck, but the feeling of connection described here is rooted in the emotion in his music.
Chucks plays a big role in the people I look up to and what he has said and done in the past. He is probably the most nicest person I have ever heard of and is the complete opposite of what people think metal heads are. Chuck inspired and motivated me to play guitar and write poetry with messages I believe what he would've want to say in a song along with the inspiration of other bands I listen to. It is truly heart breaking to know that chuck left this world so early and before we all could Meet him. Rip chuck
I love Chuck because his music bridged the gap between the generic (i don't mean that in a bad way) death metal that I was already listening to and the expansive repertoire of progressive music that was quickly gaining my attention. The heavy riffs mixed with the odd rhythms and unconventional song structures were EXACTLY what I needed to hear at the time! Human remains one of my all time favourite albums and it still hits me as hard as it did the first time I heard it. I never met Chuck, but I'll be damned if he isn't one of the most important people in my life and partly responsible for my achievements both academically and artistically.
Chuck the man for a lot of reason. First of all, he was an amazing songwriter. The absolute best metal writer, in m opinion. But there is also Chuck the person. We didn't know him. But it is pretty obvious that he was a great guy. He was a breath of fresh air for us metal guys. He didn't feel that it was necessary to 'play the part' of a metal guy. He didn't dress up or try to be some sort of Viking character that so many guys do. He was just himself. My favorite Chuck moment that wasn't music related was when he was proudly wearing his 'kitten t-shirt' and explained to the Canadian tv host that he was just a normal dude. Chuck was the man.
RIP Cliff Burton. RIP Chuck Shuldiner. I almost come to tears when I hear their unfinished songs. What potential they had. And Cliff got to display very little of it. And Chuck had his softer and more melodic side of music left to show. If Chuck was still alive, I would definitely go to a Control Denied or Death show over Slayer’s final tour. Edit: Plus Chuck wore flip flops on stage. You can’t be more lit than that.
because the first time I saw him playing I thought it was fantastic, until today I am inspired by his playing and his works are perfect, each note or riff and solos are unique ! Chuck forever !!!!! Brazil.
I have these feelings for chuck as an actual family member because I always feel happy listening to his music. I so dearly wish I could of met chuck for at least 10 seconds. Chuck’s work improved me as a guitar player and musician and I owe the world to him for that. I see Chuck as a brother I never knew or meet. But I hope someday or sometime I will. RIP Chuck Schuldiner.
For a while over the span of a few years, back in the late 90s and early 2000s I had stopped following the music scene and keeping up with the latest news on new or old bands...because I quit keeping up with music I didn't learn of Chucks Death until a few years later... I found out around 2005-06 that Chuck had passed away...When I found out Chuck had died in 2001 the news devastated me. I was seriously depressed of the news for a couple of days. I took time out to listen to some Death and reflect on all of the times Chucks music got me thru the hard times.
As we approach the 20th anniversary of Chuck's passing, I am reminded of how different he seemed as a death metal musician when I first learned about Death. He seemed approachable, relatable, there was no false veneer you get with so many other musicians in this genre. It was odd, he was like a hippie that played sick metal riffs. He talked about how he loved to mow his lawn FFS. We saw Death on Wednesday, July 21 1993 in Cincinnati. He was real as FUCK. No pretenses, no macho bullshit, just Chuck in jeans and a white T-shirt and his BC Rich Stealth, thanking us for coming and supporting them. The pits was unbelievable. I related to things he said in interviews and in his lyrics on a deep level. Hell I bought a Marshall Valvestate stack because that was what he used. Chuck made me want to be the best I could be in my own band, to others, and to myself. He never hesitated to call out the bullshit on an individual and a societal level, and each album of his became more complex, sophisticated, and beautiful. He brought his messages to the far corners of the globe. I love Chuck because he believed in peace and love (and cats and dogs), and used Death to combat what personally threatened his values. Rest In Peace, Chuck
Chuck is my best friend (was & always) Chuck Schuldiner is my role model, helps me get past my tragic childhood episodes. I felt so in tune with the man who wrote his story and played it out, with every guitar note. Lyrically, Chuck said the words. In his projects, that "I" did not know how to express.. I wish I could have told him just how much his music will always mean to me. Maybe he all ready knows🔥#keepthemetalfaithalive
When I started to listen to Death I thought that death metal was all about screaming but when I started to search the lyrics I realized that they had a meaning behind them and some of them are about mental problems something I didn’t expect, then i watch interviews he had and he was just so calm I couldn’t believe he was a death metal vocalist the way he talked about life it was just so pure. Since then Death is one of my favorite bands and chuck and his music is one of the strongest influences I had in my life. R.I.P. Chuck Shuldiner
The reason I love Chuck is because he taught me alot with music and writing. First person to ever show me that I can write music for the greater good and write about personal issues. This has been done before Chucks time in the metal world but he stands out to me. When it comes to song writing he is the best in my opinion. I love you and miss you Chuck
I love him because he founded the greatest metal band in the world,he founded death metal,he is a great guitar player,he loves his fans and his lyrics are so meaningful that I cant stop listening their songs.Thats why I love Chuck Schuldiner
Because of who he was, how truly kind he was and how much of a legendary songwriter and guitar player he had become in so many people's eyes, I love him in order to keep his faith and memory alive and well because people like Chuck do not ever deserve to die
RIP Cliff Burton. RIP Chuck Shuldiner. I almost come to tears when I hear their unfinished songs. What potential they had? And Cliff got to display very little of it. And Chuck had his softer and more melodic side of music left to show.
I love Chuck because his solos were very melodic and bright and riffs were groovy. You could tell the lyrics were straight from the mind and soul, and if I never heard of Chuck or any of his work, I would have never been inspired to pick up a guitar and start learning.
I love Chuck because he writes music like that's second to none, his lyrics are very thought provoking and not cannibal corpse-esque lyrics that are very common in death metal. He has been a huge inspiration in my own music and he introduced me to death metal.
I love him cause he's Chuck Schuldiner .. he took death metal to another level , i can also feel what he feels in his music .. melodies and he's a great songwriter and he inspired a lot of today band or old ones ! he loves music he's not dead he's still alive \m/
There is something more to Chucks music than just sound. I wasn’t even into metal music back in the day, but a neighbour/friend of mine was into metal and told me to listen to Leprosy that he gave me on cassette tape. I listened to that album from start to finish every night through headphones before going to bed. It was like a form of meditation. I got into Death and other metal bands from then on. I still listen to the album Leprosy at least once a week. It never gets old and I never tire of it. That is why I love Chuck and his music. It brings peace to my life. After much soul searching these last few years, I’m convinced there is a higher frequency going on with Chucks music. More powerful than the five senses that we use.
I love him for the fact that he pioneered death metal, and inspired many technical bands, but even more than that, I love the music he makes. His songs are more than just the musicality, but it has great meaning too. He was just a genius of songwriting. RIP Chuck \m/
I love chuck because his riffs and lyrics just captivated me and actually inspired me to pick up a guitar and playing guitar has helped me get through some very tough things and I have chuck to thank for helping me through with his music either listening to it or playing it in a sense he was always with me
There was a moment in my life where i needed a wise advise, so i did hear for the first time the song perennial quest. At that moment i felt so much respect and gratefullnes for this guy, he gave me many things trought his music, i will always keep his message in my heart! R.I.P Chuck
I think its because he give my self back to me!!!! He made me a different person his ideas about life human being and etc he did something to that no one does!!!!! U know what I'm talking about? He made a better person from me a person who can design the world for a better place to live Always in my heart Thanks chuck Schuldiner ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Because he was Human. I saw him one time in Poland 1994, he didn't come in 1990 but his band Death arrive and play well.My memory is before concert in 1994 he come out to show him self to fans: hi guys I'm here, for U all.and that is my most memory about him.Concert in small place was very big, strong feeling for ever.We Love U mate.
He was very inteligent, smart and nice guy. Just that. It is very rare these days... It is not about the music - he played songs that no one cannot even imagine back in the day and everyone knows it. He said very important things in his lyrics... yes, he did. But the most important was that he was very nice, sensitive and grown-up guy. I miss him...
He died the day I had my 10th birthday. Later, when I discoverded Death, that was a huge thing for me. Also his thoughtful lyrics and the band's aggressive music helped me go thru my teenage years.
I love Chuck because he was an amazing guitarist, riffmeister and one of the coolest people I've ever met. I met him at a mall in Cleveland and he was so down to earth. He talked to me and my friends for a few minutes at a bookstore and then went to a few other stores with us. Never forgot that and will never forget him.
I was a kid when chuck died. But I feel that i love him. He was an excelent person and musician. He inspires me everyday. And i feel stronger when i listen to his Music.
Chuck is to me the greatest musician in our recent time, between the thought behind his lyrics and the increasing skill in his guitar play. His ability to sing over those strings was used to record timeless tracks. I first heard Death as a teenager in New England in mid 90's to the tracks of individual and symbolic and I have never had to look back. My iPod is not my own until it has symbolic on it and though I have been appreciating classical music much more over the last decade, Death is still the greatest band I'll ever hear.
I remember back when Scream Bloody Gore was released back in the 80s, pre-internet when you had to go to the record stores and take a gamble on a band when you bought a tape or record and hope it was good. Hair metal was at its peak and thrash was starting to get popular. I was into thrash and so I was looking through the new releases section and saw Deaths S.B.G. and had to pick it based on the artwork alone. Now this was before C.C., Deicide, Morbid etc..., so when. I popped it in my boombox, OMG!!! I was blown away. I love how Death has the early brutal sound, then as they progressed I wasn't too crazy about how progressive they got until I listened to Human again as an adult and it blew me away again. I constantly watch the videos, interviews, live footage and all things Death. I never had a chance to meet him or see him live but I keep his memory alive by keeping Death in heavy rotation and I have all there vinyl release, cds and some cassettes that I have managed to find. Plus I wear the Death t-shirts. Long live Chuck and as he says, "Keep the Metal faith alive!"
I love chuck because he had the most extreme music especially vocals in the world and after 16 year, there are no artists who can sing with this extreme power And we feel brotherhood and friendship about him because he where so different with other musicians and I think that most of my feelings and emotions about chuck are unnamed! Rest in peace brother We will meet each other again
He seemed a genuine person. You just get that feeling he was a sincere person. That and he’s a huge musical inspiration to guitar players like me everywhere. He may be gone but his music lives on.
He's the Godfather of Death Metal, along with Possessed. His lyrics are deep and memorable. Death never stayed the same which made for interesting listens. He was a great human being, I can tell from his interviews.
Even though I'm from Belarus, I also want to say something about Chuck. I met Death recently. And although I was not a fan of death metal at the time, Chuck's songs sunk to the soul with their lyrics and riffs, they are energetic, spiteful. And it was the sound that showed me what death metal is. I listened to all the albums and I liked them, I even bought a T-shirt with The Sound Of Perseverance. Anywhere I wrote the logo of Death 1983-2001. I even remember what I wrote on the blackboard. I looked at Chuck's story and what he was like when he was alive. He was kind, sympathetic, and he loved everyone. I love Chuck because he was and will live in my heart for the rest of my time. We love you Chuck❤️
I was lucky enough to meet and perform on the same stage as Chuck, due to my old band being the support act on a couple of Death shows. He was a very down to Earth person without any ego or attitude. He cared about his fans and was always down to just hang out and smoke some killer buds! He really was a cool dude even though he was responsible for creating some of the most insanely talented music to date! Miss you Chuck, RIP.
because of the meaning of his songs, when i heared perennial quest by the first time, i did think in a diferent way about this life and what really matters. Somehow you feel gratitude with him, and as u said in the video, it is like to have a close friend, in my case, the chuck's music have changed my life, thats why i feel such a big respect for him, and really apreciate his legacy!!
His virtuoso song writing. The lyrics touch so much and the riffs and hooks are just something so great unlike anyone has since done ( especially on Sound of Perseverance and Symbolic ). His solos, although not as flashy as some others, emote so much feeling.
A positive person he is for sure. You can see in all of his interview he's always smiling. So much positive vibe. Too bad he's not with us anymore.
Because he is the creator of the best heavy metal music ever
I love him for his amazing music that never gets old. Chuck had the best guitar solos in all of metal, not just Death metal!!!
Thanks for this opportunity.
same here
He's the reason I can write good riffs and solos. And the reason I can scream
Because he created/pioneered a genre
dude your profile name tho🤣🤣
I love Chuck because he had a gift for expressing emotion in music. I might not think much of his lyrics if I didn’t hear them in the context of his music. His delivery of the lyrics was always sincere and expressive. This emotion was present in his guitar playing as well. He had a soulful signature style of lead playing. I feel the connection described here due to the way his music makes me feel.
There are other factors that influence people’s perception of Chuck, such as his personality, his influence on metal, and the fact that he died young. These play a role in the way I view Chuck, but the feeling of connection described here is rooted in the emotion in his music.
He just comes across as such a genuine spirit kind of like Jason Becker. Coincidently both musical geniuses.
A mystical guy who brough such a big impact to the whole extreme metal community. A big influence musically but also lyrically...
He is my guitar hero. He wrote the best lyrics you can ever found in Death metal. And he was a thunder vocalist. Enough said...
The music Is everything I want out of music and metal plus some more
because the first time I saw him playing I thought it was fantastic, until today I am inspired by his playing and his works are perfect, each note or riff and solos are unique !
I wouldnt say i love him, but i admire him greatly. He was a legitimate musical genius and thats something i really respect.
I’ve never seen anyone put more soul into their music.
I liked the way he played the guitar, his voice, lyrics and i think he was a kind guy
He was a good songwriter and a lively person. I can't help but smile when I watch interviews of him.
I love Chuck because he writes music like that's second to none, his lyrics are very thought provoking and not cannibal corpse-esque lyrics that are very common in death metal. He has been a huge inspiration in my own music and he introduced me to death metal.
Because their songs touchs me in a amazing personal level.
I love Chuck because of his kitty shirt.. And that he was one of the loveliest, most humble and talented souls❤️
I love him for the fact that he pioneered death metal, and inspired many technical bands, but even more than that, I love the music he makes. His songs are more than just the musicality, but it has great meaning too. He was just a genius of songwriting. RIP Chuck \m/
That's true you said... He was to me like Brother I've never had
The songwriting and compositions are amazing to me. My 3 favorite American composers Gershwin, Brian Wilson, Chuck Schuldiner.
I love his soul , his lyrics ,solos
He's the godfather of death metal 💜
Besides the amazing music? He was an animal lover. 2 of my fav qualities in a human being right there!
R.I.P Chuck
His music obviously but also that he was so true human being it resonates with people.
I think its because he give my self back to me!!!! He made me a different person his ideas about life human being and etc he did something to that no one does!!!!! U know what I'm talking about? He made a better person from me a person who can design the world for a better place to live
Always in my heart
Thanks chuck Schuldiner ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Because he was Human. I saw him one time in Poland 1994, he didn't come in 1990 but his band Death arrive and play well.My memory is before concert in 1994 he come out to show him self to fans: hi guys I'm here, for U all.and that is my most memory about him.Concert in small place was very big, strong feeling for ever.We Love U mate.
I wish I could just talk to him for a bit , he’s like the Bruce lee of metal he seemed so cool and his guitar playing is absolutely amazing
Chuck Schuldiner is probably my favorite guitarist because the music he had written just made me happy. Chuck was the reason I started to play guitar.
"Keep The Metal Faith Alive!." 🖤🤘🏻
I love Chuck because he was an amazing guitarist, riffmeister and one of the coolest people I've ever met. I met him at a mall in Cleveland and he was so down to earth. He talked to me and my friends for a few minutes at a bookstore and then went to a few other stores with us. Never forgot that and will never forget him.
I was a kid when chuck died. But I feel that i love him. He was an excelent person and musician. He inspires me everyday. And i feel stronger when i listen to his Music.
As a young man, he is a role model for me. Not just for music but also in general. Rip
Chuck Schuldiner was not only a good songwriter, but he was also a philosopher.
He is the only man that i would like to have as a best friend in all the metal scene . He is an ispire for many people cause of his expression .
Chuck Schuldiner
Vocals of a demon
Personality of an angel
I love chuck because of his music, his voice, his way of BEING the band, and his guitar solos, I love him he motivated me to do so much
I love chuck because he had the most extreme music especially vocals in the world and after 16 year, there are no artists who can sing with this extreme power
And we feel brotherhood and friendship about him because he where so different with other musicians and I think that most of my feelings and emotions about chuck are unnamed!
Rest in peace brother
We will meet each other again
He seemed a genuine person. You just get that feeling he was a sincere person. That and he’s a huge musical inspiration to guitar players like me everywhere. He may be gone but his music lives on.
I love Chuck cause he helped me with his music and his way to be.
The lyrics, his looks, his skill he's great
He's the Godfather of Death Metal, along with Possessed.
For me he seems like a genuine person, and a talented songwriter. I dont know him personally but i respect his work.
I love Chuck b/c he was an inspiration, great talent, who left us unique music with great depth. Plus he loved animals.
So special...and precious!!!
He was a black diamond!!!
Chuck was such a nice and positive person, his attitude and music helped me deal with a very difficult and emotionaly tough period in my life.
Because his music and his presence were incredibly good, he really knew how to do it. HE IS the best.
Incredible musician and an incredible person he seemed like such a humble and down to earth guy no matter how big he got
His virtuoso song writing. The lyrics touch so much and the riffs and hooks are just something so great unlike anyone has since done ( especially on Sound of Perseverance and Symbolic ). His solos, although not as flashy as some others, emote so much feeling.
And inspired me to train my guitar skills :)
I am a grown man and i listen to his music before i sleep and sometimes i cry. I dunno why it happens but tears flow. I guess this is love.
Simple. I love Him for hes done for us.
