The historian had me at "Polls play too much into our decision making." I've been saying this for decades. Polls influence the stupid, uninformed, politically ignorant voter.
Polls do not concentrate heavily enough on core strength of support. Maga is strong, but so is the group of folks who would vote for a loaf of bread before voting for Donald Trump.

I'd like to know where do they get these poll numbers. We had a family reunion & this question came up & no one had been called. But 2 said they seen a news channel on FB ask people to jump on & do a poll & after 100 people answered it was closed. So how does that even count for all the people. Back in the day if you were a registered voter you got a polling phone call .

I always admired Allan Lichtman but today my admiration for him grew manifold because of the substance of what he said. He has a PROVEN track record of his ability to predict so I would tend to listen to him rather than the pollsters who get things wrong so many times. That's not how polls work. Asking every single person would be totally impractical to do. That's called a Census, and it's such a massive endeavor that we only take a Census once every 10 years. Polls that use random samples will nevertheless generate an accurate picture of the larger population, within a certain margin of error.

I don’t think people need a reason to vote blue, the anti-trump voter will vote for whomever is on the ticket. What scares me about Biden staying on the ticket is not only the upcoming election but this very administration’s last months.
