Nice repair, just a suggestion if you have a 500 watts incandescent lamp and connect in series you can avoid any explotion because the incandescent lamp absorb that short circuit by lighting it up. I build a 500 watts incandescent lamp with switch and outlet for convient and it's a big help and no more fire works 😂😂...

One of the two condensers 68uf at 450V, from filming it looks like it's swollen(defective), it doesn't look good ,I think he caused the defect..you know better, but in the future it can cause the same problem.Thanks for sharing your video,Very good and useful information 👍🤚

That is a butcher job, buy the damn correct parts and clear any additional shorts after finding the first one before plugging it in. SMPS usually take out a hand full of parts when they short.
