Fun fact: Kirkland’s vodka is so good and cheap that many bartenders will use it to fill up empty Grey Goose bottles because most customers can’t tell the difference.
That’s illegal everywhere… so either you are spewing complete lies or love frequenting complete dumps where you & their patrons are too dumb too notice.
@@ex3714 Well, you got me there. I bought a pack during the shortage, and it wasn’t great. Better than nothing though, which is what I had beforehand lol
From first hand knowledge the glass they use for their fruit is ridiculously strong! I dropped a jar of peaches down the basement steps like 18 of them directly onto pavement and didn’t break or crack or anything. Awesome.
A friend wanted me to go to the local grocery store to buy microwave popcorn. I asked him to cool his heels until the next day. In rough terms, I can buy three bags for almost five dollars at the local. For a little more than double that I can buy the Kirkland. The next day I handed him a package of the Kirkland popcorn (yes I brought the whole box) and said, "That's about a quarter [$ 0.25], knock yourself out." It's about four or five times the price at the local grocery store. And the quality is just as good as Orville's, if not better.
I love Kirkland brand products… except for one. The product that doesn’t get my advocacy is the toilet tissue. It leaves powdery white dust everywhere when you take it off the roll or touch it in any way. I’ll keep the Charmin’!
I noticed that the last time I went to Costco a lot of the brands of food I liked were replaced with Kirkland products. I bet within 10 years Costco will only have Kirkland goods.
I like everything Kirkland! You can't beat the brand for quality and price. And good prices on the national brands too. If you shop right you can shop for two people or even just one person and not waste any food. 👍☺
Same here - We use to buy the toilet paper from Costco but they stopped carrying the premium one so we now purchase from Sam's. Aside from that, we love Costco and the Kirkland brand.
On there the t.p. was 425 squares it's down to 380 per roll, been that way for over 8 months now. And for a dollar fifty less than the original price... Back back the 425, please. Also the smaller white trash bags.
What ever happened to the Kirkland-Campbell’s Tomato Basil Bisque Soup? It was around only a couple of years, and it was by far the best Tomato Basil Bisque Soup anywhere! It came in a cardboard container, so no canny taste whatsoever. The quality and taste was amazing. So good in fact, that I think it could’ve been served in a 5 Star restaurant. Costco abruptly discontinued it. Maybe a contract issue with Cambell’s? Anyone know what happened?
Most Kirkland brands are very good except for their toilet paper, which is the thinnest 2 ply I have ever poked my hand through. They sell so much because you need 1/8 of a roll each time you use it. Much better choices out there. The paper towels are equally poor quality, too thin, and don't absorb as quickly as others. The AAA batteries leak in the package before I had a chance to use them, well before the expired date. This happened 3x to me, no savings if they end up in the garbage. This has not happened with the Duracell batteries.
I've had Duracells leak, in the package. You are correct the Kirkland brand have a greater tendency to leak when dead. But I've never had Kirkland brand leak in the package. For a quarter a piece the AA's are a bargain. Simple fact is you have to be careful to not leave cells in any thing you don't want risk damaging.
@@brian8410 I stand by my observations, too thin for cleaning up!! Why produce a product that is inferior to others out there?? I appreciate your reply.
I get those kirkland angus burgers for every cookout and they are the best...i also get the jumbo hot dogs which are the same ones they sell at the food court... 🔥
If you look on the bottle of kirkland vodka it is made at the same location the Grey goose is made. So might not be the SAME vodka but it is made at the same location that Grey goose is. So....
I understand why the Kirkland brand beer flopped ! There's 3 things I've learned in life is being a Man ! Never change His brand of Coffee , His brand of Cigarettes , or His brand of Beer !!! This is Wisdom from the Wise !!!
Store brands made by the best well known companies is a practice that goes back a very long ways. It’s truly old news so not even worth mentioning. I’m also reminded again of how much I truly dislike this narrators voice: I almost get a Kramer reaction when he heard Mary Harts voice in Seinfeld.
Kirkland vodka was made by the SIX vodka company and probably still is. It was a garbage then and still is a subpar vodka. Whoever ranked it above grey goose shouldn’t be ranking things.
This is the DEFINITION OF FAKE NEWS.....you come here expecting to see someone dishing the dirt on a famous retailer and all you get is the retailers self promotion , and probably employees of same making all the positive comments and likes. And "Mashed" is the new definition of an advertising agency.
like we dont know this there are only so many manufactory's of products so like aldi they all use this funny that they just buy in bulk so they get better price
What are your thoughts on Costco's Kirkland brand?
ok
Every Kirkland product I have purchased has been a good quality product at a good retail price. I am in favour!
My time and sanity is not worth the 20% savings.
@@grahammcfadyenhill9555 Agree! Do you think that they might be losing money on the brand just to get more people in the store? (Loss-Leader)
Going to Costco today 🤣🤣🤣
Could you continue to tell us the name brand makers of Costco Signatures.
Fun fact: Kirkland’s vodka is so good and cheap that many bartenders will use it to fill up empty Grey Goose bottles because most customers can’t tell the difference.
Well that's highly illegal
If it compared to Belvedere then it would be something to brag about!!! GG is not great vodka....

Really.... Wow.! So if I ever buy Grey Goose It's probably Kirkland....... Interesting.. Thanks for sharing this... Helpful.
Ah yes the ole sleazy party tactic
Every Kirkland product I’ve ever had has been as good as, or better than, whatever I was going to buy otherwise.
I agree and the lasanga is really good I actually like kirkland better than stouffers
The Kirkland toilet paper is not good

Yeah I heard about this a while back. I believe this is true for a lot of the store brands like Sam's, etc. for smaller stores.
Kirkland is a brand of its own and such a fine brand. The secret of Costco is quality and they stand by that quality.
From first hand knowledge the glass they use for their fruit is ridiculously strong! I dropped a jar of peaches down the basement steps like 18 of them directly onto pavement and didn’t break or crack or anything. Awesome.
I love the Kirkland popcorn. There are 44 packs in a box. Used to be under $10, the price went up to $11.79. I still buy it. Great butter taste!

and I was really interested on what they would have said about the burgers. damn click-bait.
They are too lean , not a good product IMHO

My Kirkland car battery lasted almost 10 years. Would have lasted longer but the car wore out and sat while I figured out what I wanted to do with it.
Hey, Mashed, how about a similar video about Sam's Club (Maker's Mark, etc.) branded products?
Nah Costco paying them lol
No mention of beef patties. I assume they're amazing too.
the beef patties are really good
Click bait?
Their grass fed beef patties are DELICIOUS
Been a Costco member for 20+ years but switched to Sam's it's hands down cheaper maybe $2 per items and they have sales.
Of course it's cheaper it's WalMart🤣
OK, the batteries may be made by Duracell, but are they actually made to be as good as the Duracell label?
Probably not for store brands they probably use cheap materials so the can compete at a much lower price point
I've seen a few side by side tests done and they appear to be on par with the big boys.
Sure, it is cost effective to manufacture two different products for the same production point…
Check out "Project Farm" about batteries . He tests a lot of different products extensively.. Great you tube channel
Naturally it's made by other companies to keep costs down and money for both.
I love Kirkland laundry detergent. And the jeans.
The quality of the Toilet paper has gone down hill!!!! I won’t buy anymore toilet paper from Costco.
Same here - We use to buy the toilet paper from Costco but they stopped carrying the premium one so we now purchase from Sam's.
Aside from that, we love Costco and the Kirkland brand.
Not all “wisconsin cheese” is made in wisconsin , despite what the label says.
I wanted to know about the food, like *IDK beef patties pictured* ?!!
Those are really good tasting burgers. Expensive, usually wait for them to go on sale.
This is a common practice amoungst store brands
Kirkland isn't too bad. I have seen them at Aldi.
Watched the video and listened to the audio with my Kirkland hearing aid. The volume was able to be low enough not annoy others.
I really enjoy the Cranberry/Raspberry Kirkland Signature juice blend that I drink. I wish to try the other juice blends really soon.
Tp sheet count is now 380 per roll, down from 425 as shown on the video. Price did not change st $17.99.
I expected a comment about Kirkland beef pattys
Their Angus Beef Patties are really good. I try to buy them when it goes on sale. Regular price is sort of too expensive for me.
you promised "the truth about Costco Angus beef burgers" -- You failed to deliver!
Costco has it's own ranches, cowboys, Angus cattle branded Kirkland (BIG K) and Kirkland fence posts and barbed wire. Can't make this stuff up.
I didn’t hear anything about the Angus ground chuck patties!
My son works for Sun Sweet. He told me to buy Kirkland . Not Sun Sweet. Hummm
So how does it explain Kirkland Meeseeks?
0:52 "Made by giant retailers"
Since when is Duracell a retailer?
I unfortunately don’t have a Costco near me. I do buy store brands for many things and have been very satisfied.
Good for you since Costco is a human trafficking business disguise as a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores
It's this way across the board.
I miss the Kirkland's small batch bourbon =( R.I.P.
