We are using Atwood rod holders that are meant to be drilled into a side gunnel but built a mount for them to be on the rail

They work great! We are using a tapas digital line counter. If you look at the description of the video we have a link to it there.
How fast were you trolling on the first fish?
Probably close to 15mph maybe just a touch more

It depends on each trip, sometimes it’s in close and sometimes we 75+ out

Yeah they are delicious, they are much more valuable. They are usually sold sashimi style or sushi style in restaurants.

@DDFishingCo I went the last two weekends in the sloughs and it was slow nothing but shakers, it's kinda of strange usually around this time of the year it would be hot. It looks like the major of the stripers are still hanging out in the bay. Have you been out for stripers?
It’s strange the area you and I both fish, has been so different these last two years. Tons and tons of fish stayed in the bay this year. I’m not sure why. I haven’t been out, I have to get a motor for my boat but when that happens I am going to get back out there.
@DDFishingCo Nice man...I have been dealing with motor problems myself, I have a Johnson 150 two stroke that I would like to upgrade soon. What brand of motor are you eyeing?
I’m not sure it’s a tough decision for me, I am in debate of something new and keeping the boat, or getting used, selling the boat and buying a smaller vessel for the area we fish. If I go new I was thinking mercury. What about you?
