Secure API never be easy as a Android Developer because by reverse engineering anyone can hack our android application and if they get our API keys than they can do anything with our Database and can do something with our user
so this is our responsibility to secure our API our Application and our user so this video is all about how to secure Android API

Sadly there is no way to hide API,, You must exclude these file from Pro guard otherwise app crash. If you not use proguard then these file easily find.

Hey this is not safe method, I tried this and found that someone can easily get hands on API key by running strings command on generated libkey.so file, you can also confirm this by pulling the generated apk file from the device then decompile it using apktool and run $ grep -Hnri -e "yourapikey" ./ from the decompiled root folder and will you get your apikey

@@shafqatkamal8841 you can also have a look at Android key Store API but I haven't tried it so no idea if it's secure or not.
