Thank you for making this video. I'm looking at cross-platform app frameworks and this was very informative.
If you want a couple of suggestions for feedback, I would say (1) get a little bit of pronunciation coaching. Your English is mostly understandable, but sometimes the accent slows down comprehension. (And this is coming from someone who has spent years listening to Russian accents.) (2) Personally I would prefer more informative imagery over "entertaining" clips. The video showing code flashes by very quickly, even though it's very useful to see. Sometimes it's hard to catch what you're saying because there's so much movement in the video and the things you're saying are not shown on the screen.
Keep up the good work, Daniel!
Also I would be curious to hear what you think about Compose Multiplatform.

this might or might not be true but from my experience hiring flutter devs and react native devs. react-native devs are far more experienced. flutter devs usually have a very shallow understanding of Flutter and a bad computer background, they watch some RUclips videos and start applying for jobs. I was a CTO for an application built in Flutter and hiring was very painful.

    • @Martin-nw4sb

That's because most programmers start as web developers with the MERN stack. From there, it's an extra step to begin using React Native Expo. Then, you need to create a specific project that requires more control and eject from Expo to start using React Native CLI. Eventually, you realize you're spending most of your time working with the same tools like Formik, Yup, Axios, Redux, etc. So here I am, a five-year-old semi-senior React Native developer with no computer science degree, learning how to use widgets, controllers, builders, the state, etc., just because the PM said Flutter is faster.😅

After finishing with node & databases it's better not to spread focus on mobile apps for you (if you plan to find first job). It's better to focus solely on web, make some pet project, find first job, work at least a year in this area and then get back to the question "if I still want to try mobile apps". It's better to be an expert in one area than average specialist in multiple (and mobile apps world completely differs from web). This is a suggestion for you from a full-stack software engineer with 8+ years of experience.

Again same video from someone who not understand what he is talking about. Same with styling with widgets is a huge plus compare to css. Also flutter was made with concept of smooth design and simplicity. React native huge minus is js->native compilation.

Dart is like the hip grandson of Java. It is a pleasure to use - null safety datatype control etc. No complaint about Flutter when it comes to Mobile development. But it's flat-footed on the web platform. Flutter web is still a premature baby. Proof? Stripe does not support Flutter-Web! How do you create useful business web apps that do not have a payment gateway? You can't. Hope someone will correct me here. Thanks.

@@lemelon01I'm damn sure about it. React native is still the better choice, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Walmart, Tesla Shopify etc.. many big companies prefer React native. I think, most of the flutter developers who comments have only few years of Experience in software field. it's truth in terms of performance react native was not good as much as Flutter but now they can't say that react native is no more using js bridge. Flutter is trying to imitate native components where as reactive uses real native features in Apps. Through out the years React native has improved a lot. For me choice for 2024 is React Native. In terms of job opportunities also React Native has been always better.
