    * You see in the video where I put the buffer face down on the concrete. DO NOT DO THIS!! Always keep your pad face up and avoid getting any particles on it. I was trying to film with one hand and demonstrate with the other. Being in a rush got the best of me.

    QUICK TIP!!!
    * For a typical 20-30 ft boat you will need:
    - 2 bottles of Pro-cut 1000
    - 1 bottle of Pro-cut 2500 (if you want to polish more than the 1000)
    - 1 bottle of Ceramic Shield Blue Ice - Or your other favorite sealing top coat
This video shows you step by step detail on how to buff and compound your fiberglass boat's gelcoat. All the products you see used in this video are in the links below. You can use this same process on boats and jetskis of all types. In this video I used the SMOOVE line of compounds specifically made for boat gelcoat restoration.
You don't need to sand your heavily oxidized boat hull, follow these steps and your boat or jetski will look brand new again.
I recently did another video on buffing and applying ceramic polymer wax to our boat. Check it out here: • Polishing the Cobalt 2...

I just did another one a couple weeks ago with more detail in the other steps. And also found a new compound product that I like way better than Smoove. Check it out here - Polishing the Cobalt 292 Boat - Found my New Favorite Compound for Gelcoat - Works SO MUCH Better

You said single speed buffer but the amazon link was to a variable speed? Also have you tried a battery buffer?

Ooops, my mistake if that's what I said. You need a variable speed buffer. I have tried the battery powered ones, I have a couple of them, but they don't have enough juice for a boat. Those battery powered ones are good for small spots and such, but for a boat you really need a corded high speed variable RPM buffer. I just checked the links, the Dewalt one I linked to on amazon is the correct one, same one I use.

Nice watermarks, you should probably leave them out next time😂

Don’t do it this way. Up down, side to side. Finish out with higher speed.

Just have to be careful with higher speeds so you dont burn the gel coat
