    This is early Simple Minds ( 1979) and their first trip to America. Filmed at Hurrah's ( thank you Ruth Polsky) exclusively for the Old Grey Whistle Test. Fascinating interview with 'Whispering Bob Harris' too.
    Special times....

    Thanks for the upload. I'm currently reading a recent book about the band and it mentioned Iggy Pop being in the audience. Apparently Simple Minds had recently helped Iggy out with some backing in a studio. You can see Derek Forbes and Charlie Burchill smiling at him. Those very early albums still sound superb.
