Hey, Welcome to the OFD Watch Channel. My name is Aron Dunlap, and I’m nuts about watches. What’s OFD you ask? Well, one of my best friends coined this term. It stands for “Only F@#*ing Dunlap” (sorry kids!!) due to some of the ridiculous things I can come up with, including watch collecting.
I have loved watches for years, but in the last few years really got into the collecting and studying aspect. I mainly buy Seiko and Orient watches, but I love everything out there!! (Omega, Oris, Rolex, Squale, Timex, Casio, Steinhart….and on and on and on)

The gear work connecting the external rotating bezel to the inner bezel is contained within the grated protrusion on the left side of the case. There it is physically protected but allowed for drainage of water. It's basically the same as having a secondary crown to turn the inner bezel, but in this case the 2nd crown is a gear that's connected to the external bezel.
