- In 1908 the coronation ceremony was abolished, and replaced by a much simpler ceremony where the king swear an oath to the parliament. It was argued that the king does not get his power from God, but the people. All the kings after that however, have still wanted a blessing from the church, as a sort of unofficial confirmation of his reign.
The consecration, just as the coronation before that, is preformed by the bishop of Nidaros. Norway's biggest cathedral, in Trondheim.

Because of the ruling Labour Party didn't think it compatible with socialism
All european countries except UK have since long abolished coronation… It is deemed as unmodern

Es ist zur Zeit Schade das es keine Prinzessin gibt die so in meinem Alter also so zwischen 35 und 42 Jahren alt um diese mal zu heiraten, denn manche sind schon verheiratet oder noch zu Jung um noch nicht soweit zu sein um zu Heiraten. 😊
Als ich geboren wurde 1987 war Olav noch König 👑 von Norwegen.
