its 30 lbs heavier than yamaha....prob due to have a timing chain instead of a belt and having 9 qrts of oil vs 5

@@mattcaesar5781 i dont lift mine either, but weight plays a role in top speed i believe sir! Esp in the water an ill smoke past your slowzuki 175, with my merc 150 been there done that!

What exactly wrong was with 16×20 prop, you mentioned?
I considering this motor for slow speed (non fishing) heavier boat and planing 16×17 four blade prop. What is your opinion?
