Before commenting, Kindly Watch the Full Video. A traveller with all document, paas and insurance was also not given boarding paas. And i was informed by the Airline that i dont need any extra document if my transit is less than 12 hours.
One more thing i let you know that never rely on airline helpline confirmation on Visa. That need to be only confirmed at airport or Consulates. I am also a Travel Consultant. So i face such issues many times. There is no coordination between Airport & airline helpline. But still if you have strong proof then also Airport staff can no anything & that is what happen with you.
Did they also confirm that you can travel under different PNR or by different airline through Thailand? Sometimes providing half information can also land one in such awkward and unfortunate situation.

The reason is if it's not the same ticket (two different tickets/airlines) is NOT considered transit, so you have to pass through inmigration and customs regarldess of the time between the two flights. It's not only Thai , it is in many other countries. I understand somebody didn t explain you well or treat you bad, that s very lamentable, but that rules exists and it's clear. Transit only with the same ticket (two legs), two tickets are not two legs of the same flight so it's not transit. and you need to enter Thailand (with all the rules, visa, cov 19 test, insurance etc...)... of course, this doesn t justify the bad service .
Airlines is right what they said about Thai pass mandatory is very correct. They can't go against Thai government, if they do so they will be penalized

THIS IS NOT A TRANSIT: You have 2 different bookings for 2 different airlines. Your trip from Kolkata Airport to BKK only provides you with ONE boarding pass. Normally transit for 2 different aircraft or airlines, you will get the 2nd boarding pass together with your first boarding pass. So what it means that for your 2nd trip, you need to pass immigration and to the departure hall to get your 2nd boarding pass in BKK. But BKK new COVID travel rules is that you need to have ThaiPass (which takes 5 days min) and a 1 night hotel stay with PCR test. Because you do not have that, that's why the ground staff denied you of the boarding pass. This is the same for the rest of the world where the ground staff needs to check that you have the proper documents before giving you the boarding pass. If you are traveling during Pre-Covid period, you can do this, but because of COVID, there are new rules that everyone needs to follow. And these rules differs and changes as different countries opens up and started to ease their restrictions while some are still holding on to the restrictions. Transit , departure and arrival rules are govern by the Aviation Authority of the country. Airlines have no power to tell any airport what to do. Each airport has their own rules that airlines around the world need to follow. The ground staff in Kolkata Airport were brief and given a set of rules. Flying to BKK but need to pass immigration, you need the following documents. No documents, no boarding pass. Flying to BKK with transit, they will print 2 boarding pass but depending on BKK transit rules. The email from ThaiSmiles mentioned that you can transit within 12 hours because you keep insisting that you are transiting. But in fact, this is not a transit as mentioned it is 2 different itinerary. Hope that explains everything.
Please lodge an FIR against these thugs. If you feel like this is a scam perpetrated on our soil by a foreign entity. Bring charges of cheating and harassment.
I hate Delhi Airport. Most of these staff have attitude. Once one male staff throw a Tebatian passanger passport on the floor. I choose to fly via Doha.
her attitude is why she got a negative response, You dont actually hear her asking why blah blah blah she is just talking to the camera blah blah blah. Maybe he should have done her research beforehand. Not the first time she has had issues at airport because she thinks she knows it all
Hi Garima, I felt sorry for you to be in that situation. Absolutely agree with the view that airlines companies and staffs lack professionalism. Let me explain the reason... in fact Thai smile air and Vietjet air operate from different terminals in Bangkok. These terminals are not interconnected. Therefore, you need to be out of the main terminal to catch Vietjet flight. The same situation I faced back in 2014. These airlines will just record as no show-up case. Its frustrating, but that's the way they are doing business. My empathy with you.
You did well. Anwesh had a similar problem when the airlines overbooked the flight and denied him boarding pass. These staff members are reckless, inefficient and inhuman.
In order to be considered as a transit, your tickets should be under same PNR, no matter if the flights are of the same airline or different. In order to consider a trip to be under same PNR, different airlines should have mutual agreement for luggage transfer and while booking passengers can book flights connecting to different destinations where the airline you are booking with doesn’t go but their partners do. I think you booked two different tickets and trying to consider your stay in Bangkok as a transit. In this case your trip is not transit and you need to have all legal documents to arrive and stay in Bangkok. Thailand has many restrictions due to the pandemic like Thai pass and insurance and you clearly lack those as you were saying about the other guy- "Inke pass Insurance bhi hain". Which means you don’t have it. It is bad of the airline that they didn’t explain you well and treated you badly but they’re legally right. I can understand you were in a bad mood that time and decided to vlog it but you should have done some research before planning your trip. Along with the poor dealing of ThaiSmile, this video exposes your stupidity too. It is even surprising from the comments that how many people don't have understanding of this issue but still trying to use their uncommon commonsense to blame the airline entirely. This type of people will suffer for their ignorance but eventually blame others for their misery like this video.
It's not her fault that she bought two tickets. It's the airlines have to mention all the rules before selling the tickets. Who knows what rule applies in which country, So it is the duty of airlines for informing customers. She should sue the airlines for not informing her about all the transit rules.
First of teach courtesy to Thai airline staff. You cannot expect every traveller to know all of the rule. Can you explain why thai smile staff were so rude and did not want to explain the reason even when this girl was pleading to those rude staff to know the reasons. Rrmember airlines staff make their bread because of travellers.
Actually, if passengers are transiting ahead to a different country using Bangkok( without crossing Thai immigration), then they mandatorily need to use the SAME AIRLINE on a SINGLE PNR. It is not a new rule at all for Thailand, atleast for Indian passport holders. They DON'T allow a new check-in of a different airline in Bangkok airport, like some airports in the Middle East do, without crossing immigration. You could have done this. Stayed in Thailand foe a couple of days by availing the easy VOA (ofcourse with the Thai Pass, insurance and other necessary bookings) and then proceed to your onward destination in Vietnam. Even producing a dummy or on-hold return ticket could have helped I guess atleast to allow you access into Thailand. Orelse, if you don't wish to stay, a transit visa could have helped you so easily. The other passenger was heading to Laos and despite having all documents he wasn't allowed. The reason most probably was because he was using a different airline Laos airlines. Had there been any codeshare agreement between Laos airlines and Thai Smile, that could have helped too. Perhaps there isn't. In this case, he too could have stayed in Thailand and headed to Laos later and avoided all these hassles. If there are two different flights on separate PNRs, you have to cross Thai immigration. I have seen countless Westerners doing this in Bangkok using the VOA as they get it for free or with lesser hassle and then again re checking in for the next flight. But now due to covid, even immediate domestic transfers aren't allowed due to the quarantine rule. So I guess in a way the officials are right in refusing your entry. I have been to Thailand thrice so I somewhat know the situation.
@@amanakash893 you have to furnish full information when you discuss or ask the customer care about such things. If you mention only about transit in your email, the answer shall be an obvious yes. It is allowed within a specific time period. ( Usually it is 8 or 12 hours in most nations). This means your next connecting flight which is booked under the same PNR and same airlines has to be within that 8 hour time period. This is the Thai law. You cant bypass it. Everyone is presumed to know this. Ignorance of law isn't excused. So what I feel after looking at the situation is, perhaps the customer care must have presumed it to be the same airlines and single PNR. It's not universal everywhere. However, if she had furnished this in the email that she is flying using a different airline and henceforth wants to transit and still the airlines gave her a positive nod, then in that case, she can absolutely sue the airlines or ask for a refund. Remember, many things get lost in translation. Perhaps there was a miscommunication.
@@sumangalrajkonwar2371 So, let's suppose I get stuck in that situation, then can I get a hotel booking in some Thai hotel and proceed ? Do they check the Visa (for Thailand) during boarding ? I know it's either e visa or Visa on arrival for Indians but let's suppose I do not want to pass immigration at the Thai airport. Pardon me if I say something funny because I have not travelled abroad yet, I am just trying to know. Or if it is mandatory to cross immigration, then maybe get a Visa, go out of the airport and then come back again to catch the Vietnamese flight ?
It's completely your responsibility to know the transit laws in the country you are visiting. It's always best to get this information from the county not the airline. But yes they should provide the reason and help you overcome that reason if possible by buying the correct ticket or getting the correct visa.
Very courageous of you to stand firm and record the entire issue. You could easily see the guilt on the staffs faces (even if they wore a mask) Seriously you should sue them for a huge amount for all the frustration and mental trauma, do not let them off the hook. You have all the proof to hit them where it hurts. If this can happen with someone like you who tried to make a noise and fight back, imagine how many other innocent and timid passengers might have suffered before you and will suffer after you. Once again, you did a great job bringing this out into the open. Hopefully your exposure will act as a deterrent in the future. Well done, girl 👍
Sadly, every Indian should boycott Thai Smile Airways. When the customer is asking, it is their responsibility to inform the customer with the correct information. But here he did the complete opposite 😡.
And every Indian should also show Garima her limits. She had a problem with a private and foreign airlines, and she is defaming Indian and government. She has always done this.

Kolkatta officials do get argumentative to hide their own incompetence .you are absolutely right about them over booking and then refusing boarding I have faced similar situations.
This phenomenon has started freshly in several airports and with many airlines. Yesterday, a student travelling to London with a break in Frankfurt was not allowed to board in Bengaluru airport as she did not have a transit visa for Frankfurt, although having held a UK visa, she was automatically exempt from any transit visa in Frankfurt. And this was no third rate fly-by-night airline but the reputed Lufthansa. Apparently, the rules of transit visa requirements have altered in the recent past in several countries, but it is the responsibility of respective airlines to make passengers aware at the time of booking or well in advance before actual flight date, which is not happening. And you are right. There is no restrictions on photography or videography in a public area of any airport in India, maybe there in the security or immigration area only. He was trying just to deter you, else he would have called the airport security if he knew any better.
With Brexit, UK is no more part of the EU (Schengen Region) hence a transit visa is needed. UK Visa has no validity in the Schengen region. This has nothing to do with the airline.
They work in a public area..and these are people dealing with the public, how is not recording their customer approach not legit?? Plus, they had to explain to her why they are refusing the transit. This is so unprofessional on their part. Kudos to you Garima!
Sue them ! What a shame! They heave to at least explain the reason for rejecting the boarding. When you don’t have a reason, it means your company is either corrupt, inefficient or scammer. If one is confident in one’s professionalism and honesty, there is no point avoiding camera.
I really wish she dares to sue them!!! You know why? Then she'll not only lose, but she'll be forced to pay all the expenses to the other side including for defamation!!! An example will be set for such shameless vloggers who do everything for a handful views!! Calling a whole nation sh***it!!! Doesn't that bother you?!
This video is just one side of the story. Probably if she kept quiet and relaxed they would have explained it well but from what I see she was rather rude to them also
India needs to ramp up the pressure on airlines that operate to and from India to make sure their ethical standards are high. Indian courts should allow lawsuits to collect fines from airlines that cause unnecessary hassles.

Have worked in Aviation and can completely co-relate to your video. The situation is frustrating for a passenger. Overbooked in 1 Reason where Airlines finds these things. If you want to complain, try contacting CISF officials as they can help passengers to get issues sorted. I have seen many CISF officials are helpful if you are able to explain your problem correctly.
@@janami-dharmam It depends on the Officer. I have seen CISF helping passengers many times when they face issues while traveling. Having said that CISF is also responsible for providing customer service to the passenger. They are not just limited to the Security of the Airport.
9:08 on email it is clearly mentioned, "international flights on the same ticket" along with "when the the transit time does not eceed 24 hours", so technically airlines is not at fault...even if airlines claim the otherwise that they allow, just to attract customers, they are not authorized to claim so, you should only rely on Thai/any other transiting country governmnt rules of transit, on their governmant websites, while transiting, and booking flights on different PNRs..however they also can't deny u filming at that area of the airport also, and should have more clearly explained to u, the problem.
Happily shared your experience. Looks like there was no Thai Smile for you. Thankyou for this it helps every traveller at this time of constant changes. 👍
These days the airlines are exploiting the passenger. I had a bad experience with the indigo where they wanted to charge me for my 13kg luggage which includes both handbag and check in luggage. Shame. The airport authority of India should investigate.
I'm from Kolkata also but now working in Dubai ...the airport official of Kolkata is an ass holes...3 years back we missed our flight just for the official attitude problem not just me also 12 people... maybe number was more but I think you did the right thing ...keep it up mam
No use blaming Thai Smile.. they were doing their duty rightly.. problem is when you are planning for transit, you should book your destination with one ticket/pnr which makes your life very much easier and also for airline. When you have two different tickets/pnr, transit is invalid as airline will not consider transfer of baggage and you will be considered as arrival at Thailand for which you would definitely need visa and mandatory documents. Before booking tickets, one should read rules and regulations which is clearly mentioned in respective airline website.
But thailand ke rule pdho bhai or is airline ke rule pdho mister uske baad comment krna . Usme likha h ki 12 hrs se km ka transit allowed h. Samjhe bhai sahab. Or tum jaake rules and regulations pdho plz. Jarurat h tumko pdhne ki. Or koi insaan transit kr raha h toh usko takleef hoti h toh uski iccha h vo but rules me allowed h toh airline mna ni kr sakta. In airlines ka baap ka raaz chal rha h kya.
She clearly said that this Airlines do not surve further to the destination then what she has to do in that case wait at the airport for life for this airlines to start service to the destination passenger wants to go....? Airlines dont mention in there terms and condition that they wont entertain passenger transiting to destination by other airlines where they do not operate further for transiting passengers. Why not argue the case before selling the ticket rather than fooling around at the airport with passengers and cheating them with the money. Why not refund if you as an airline deny the passenger to travel just for some sick baseless rule that is applicable to certain few and not to all in General
We travel a lot in foreign countries and never treated badly as happening in our own country this days by indians officials, they are all join jobs on recommendation without proper qualification nor having behavioral quality 😢
Ok Garima if you booked 2 separate one way tickets. Not connecting flights on same booking reference. It creates problem. First of all 1) both airlines may not having baggage agreements. 2) Even if they issue a boarding pass your bags will go through immigration, which means you will need to go through BKK immigration and check in again. That is not considered a transit. Airline will come under Thai govt firing line for giving you boarding pass. THAT IS WHY YOU NEED EXPERT TO BOOK THE TICKET.
Did you even watch the video? She knew about that and only had hand luggage and no checked luggage as it was already mentioned in the email by the airline.
@@bhojjadamotabanda it's not about she had luggage or not. This is the policy of airlines that will only give boarding pass if the tickets are booked under same PNR not different so that luggage could be transfer easily.
@@bhojjadamotabanda Even without luggage the passenger have to clear the BKK immigration because airline issued boarding only till BKK. With that passenger have to come out of Transit Area. This makes Airline violation of flying the passenger without a Visa. What passenger has paid for fare is peanuts compared to the fine Airline had to pay for the violations. If you treat international flight tkt as a train tkt big mistakes will happen.
@@SalmanKhan-bl1ok To enter Thailand, u need to apply for Thaipass which will take at least 5 days for ALL arrivals including Thai nationals with a pre book hotel for 1 night and PCR test. The time and money that she may have to spend to file a case in penal court will be double than what she would get in return as compensation. This is how our Indian judiciary system is working.
Pls note that ASEAN citizens can transit through any countries in ASEAN without transit visa needed as they can get visa on arrival therefore if your fellow passenger is from ASEAN country they can transit through Thailand with 2 different PNR/Airlines but not for you. The airline stated clearly that you can transit through Thailand under the same ticket (PNR) only, if you booked with 2 different airlines at your risk and arrangement (not arranged by Thai Smile Airways) you must have a transit visa once you get to Bangkok you must proceed the immigration clearances then collect your luggage and contact your 2nd leg carrier at their check in counters in Bangkok for travel documents proof and issue a new boarding pass+check in your luggage, you are NOT able to check through. These in transit rules are applied for a whole world.

Hi Garima, As per IATA Rules, Thai Smile Airways is banned from carrying foreigners include passport holders from India transiting through Thailand. Hope this helps. Many low cost Airlines are banned from transitting through Thailand without visa even if it less than 12 hours. Sorry to hear your bad experience. This could have been avoided with Transit Visa.
So you are telling me, the guy who had Thai Pass to enter Inside and insurance also got rejected for what? And then the email from Company who clearly mentioned Transit is allowed without visa or Thai Pass is also of no use? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
@@bakshigarima As per the Thai rules, it has to be one ticket for that gentleman. One PNR No for the ongoing travel with the same airline. If it is a different airline then he has to exit for immigration or security and recheck in. Each country has different rules. US needs a transit visa, even if you are not entering their country and only transitting. From April 1 Covid rules have been relaxed in Thailand. Still you need to book a approved hotel for one day till you get result. Wierd but true. I got stopped by agents from boarding Qatar airways in IG Delhi to Montreal, because I needed a Covid test in Qatar. Wierd rule by Canada only for Indians and Morroccans. Now it is removed. I appreciate your courage, you fight very well, you must complain to all local travel on social media and specially complain to Thai smile airlines and Thai Airways as well as tourism authority of Thailand, India and Thailand
First of all , you being ignorant here. The staff might be immature to explain the whole situation but you and other guys who traveling to Laos is at default. Firstly Thai Smile is full service airlines , according to Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand any international flight arrived must disembark through sealed route that is concourse E. All the major international airlines went through the same route and proceed to formality till transfer desk. At transfer desk you will be met with your designated airlines staff for further transfer to destination. Thai Vietjet being a low cost airlines doesn't offer service through transit desk. You need to exit immigration in order to board at their counter. For which you neither have Thailand pass , visa , insurance and other formality. The Vietjet staff won't be able to assist at the BKK if the CCU staff let you board flight and if Thai Smile let you board flight from here it would be there responsibility to take you back from BKK. That why they denied your boarding according to IATA protocol. For your info majority of low cost carrier doesn't provide transit services. This was big blunder on your part. In this case any airlines staff would definitely did the same. Next time study each country rules precisely before traveling and making fun of yourself in the video. Your title is so misleading that airlines will end up suing you rather than you complaining them.

I don't think you can transit to a different carrier without a visa at the transit airport. Because to change carrier you HAVE to enter the transit city (go out of the airport) and then enter back in to the airport through immigration.
I think the same, but since she's standing right in front of airlines counter where boarding pass is issued, don't you think she has either crossed immigration or there's other way (transit) to get into that counter without actually crossing the immigration..?
@@MohithBantwal she is still in the home country, has not even got the first boarding pass. She can definitely get out of here but she would be stuck in the next airport because she doesn’t have a visa and she has to change carriers. Hence no airline would issue a boarding pass in such a situation. You always have to be extra careful booking flights where carrier change. Some times airports require a transit visa even for the same carrier! This happened to a friend trying to travel from Phoenix Arizona to Vancouver Canada to China using a same carrier. But they were not given the first boarding pass because Canada requires you to have a transit visa
I agree with you the airlines staff in India are sense less and they do not justify any of their action. I had bad experience with Air India in Delhi and in Moscow, and we are left with nothing but loosing with our money they dont work in any given guidelines and create rules as per their will and they have no rules ,this is the problem here in India and for Indians and there is no proper check on these misconduct by Airport Authorities, Airlines will just send email as a plane reply , towards the complaint if you have time and money then proceed legally or else let it pass and live to travel another day and be victims as we are always of the system here in the country. Thanks for the video wont be dealing with Smile airlines ever.
Yes but other Airport u can transit by different Airlines... So, i agreed on that, that maybe in Thailand thats the case u need same airline, until in one second later boarding pass was handed to another passenger who had different Airlines and no visa and Thai Pass too. So, i want justification for that and its my right to ask such behavior done by staff.
If those check in staff where Thai, they would have been friendly with you and serve with you with genuine Thai smile. The problem was in your case were they are Indians especially Bengalis.
You are being racist. There is no need to mention that. For your kind information, they are approved by AAI. So,they can be any group of people not just Bengalis. Its the fault of Thai Airways. The plane must be overbooked so,they tried their best to refuse her. Stop being racist.
@@sohanpaul7386 overbooked, knowing that most of planes right now fly with just half of capacity lol .. the woman here is wrong if your for transit don’t booked different ticket from different airlines lol
You are completely at fault here. The rule is to qualify for transit your flight must be booked on the same ticket and you must not leave the transit area. You certainly are not allowed to get off one flight, collect your bags and then go and check in for a new flight! You should be the one apologising for being in the wrong
Transit means same PNR under same airline or code sharing .. Koi kuch bhi likh de .. you cannot use transit to board in different airline from that country if you do not have VISA of that country you wish to transit .. that's simple rule.. Arguing will not change the rule ..
Saw your blog today for the first time. It’s very unique and I admire you for being so courageous and traveling the world alone, which is not seen in a lot of Indian girls. Anyways you probably know by now that you did a mistake here by not getting the Thai visa as you had tickets with two different airlines. However they should have handled the issue more professionally and make you understand where the problem was. Therefore, although the airline reps were legally correct in doing what they did, they got a zero out of 5 in customer experience!
she was wrong. The rules are that with same pnr transit is allowed. But she could have given a undertaking that in case she is denied transit and is deported back to India, it will be at her own cost.
Airline officials are correct to deny you the boarding pass. If you have two different tickets with two different airlines, it's not a transit. You have to have a Valid Thai visa to go through with your second leg journey. Please check the rules before pointing fingers. Thai Smile has a good reputation.
she had taken a ticket to Thailand, how would they know if she is going to transit in Bangkok with another airline. The rules will be on the terms and conditions. No airline in the world can read out the terms and conditions to every passenger. The passenger must go through it and if she had any doubt could have emailed or contacted the airline through the phone.
@@Harrisonsinternalmed Transit Visa (TS) may be granted to passengers in transit in Thailand, non-professional athletes visiting Thailand for sport competition, and airline crew. It's not only Thai , it is in many other countries. I understand somebody didn t explain you well or treat you bad, that s very lamentable, but that rules exists and it's clear. THIS IS NOT A TRANSIT:
You have 2 different bookings for 2 different airlines.
Then she blaming govt😂
Please lodge an FIR against these thugs. If you feel like this is a scam perpetrated on our soil by a foreign entity. Bring charges of cheating and harassment.

These staff members are reckless, inefficient and inhuman.
and these people are uneducated in the rules and regulations of travel.
Agree
It's not her fault that she bought two tickets. It's the airlines have to mention all the rules before selling the tickets. Who knows what rule applies in which country, So it is the duty of airlines for informing customers. She should sue the airlines for not informing her about all the transit rules.
@@bigdikcramer76 this is common sense
First of teach courtesy to Thai airline staff. You cannot expect every traveller to know all of the rule. Rrmember airlines staff make their bread because of travellers.
Bidhan biswas must be one of those guys from the vdeo..
So why did the airline approve it in the first place in the mail they sent to her ?
Yes you are right.

@@sumangalrajkonwar2371 So, let's suppose I get stuck in that situation, then can I get a hotel booking in some Thai hotel and proceed ? Do they check the Visa (for Thailand) during boarding ? Pardon me if I say something funny because I have not travelled abroad yet, I am just trying to know.
Or if it is mandatory to cross immigration, then maybe get a Visa, go out of the airport and then come back again to catch the Vietnamese flight ?
It's completely your responsibility to know the transit laws in the country you are visiting. It's always best to get this information from the county not the airline. But yes they should provide the reason and help you overcome that reason if possible by buying the correct ticket or getting the correct visa.

With Brexit, UK is no more part of the EU (Schengen Region) hence a transit visa is needed. UK Visa has no validity in the Schengen region. This has nothing to do with the airline.

That is not considered a transit. Airline will come under Thai govt firing line for giving you boarding pass. THAT IS WHY YOU NEED EXPERT TO BOOK THE TICKET.

I understand your frustration. But stop being a child and calling 1.4 billions Indian stupid. Corruption, official high-handedness, bad governance, official red tapism, lack of knowledge of official protocol by office bearers, are just few of the things present in almost every country on the planet. You are well within your rights to demand a copy of the rule. And yes, the officials were downright rude, inefficient, unhelpful, insensitive, but were following the rules. A rule is a rule.
Yes joe your explanation is 👍
Nice explanation
Rules are changing all the time, airline booking agents should be aware and inform passengers if restrictions. They escape saying, it is the passengers responsibilty to confirm rules. You could challenge them in a consumer court and try to get a refund. The very threat to take them to court will prompt them to give a refund or a travel voucher. Safe travels Garima and good luck.
Thanks for replying in detail with thorough explanation. Thanks for social media, now days this poor behaviour from bloggers had become quite common. Good number of RUclips bloggers think they have monopoly over wisdom and with a camera in hand they are always correct. Even after having proof they can trouble you
The staff asks for visa because if the passenger is not allowed in the foreign soil due for any visa issue then the staff is penaltized and have to pay huge amount of fee from his or her pocket.....and sometimes the amount is too much for the staff to bear
Thanks for updating about Kolkatta air port staffs and Thai smile air.

You should file with airline as well as local airport also.
They should pay you whatever mental harrasment they give.

Thailand Transit Rules are very confusing. Anyone who is planning to fly to a destination with no directly flight from India should avoid Thailand for the moment. You should choose any other country. I am currently in Thailand and I know how they are changing rules every other day. Hope it helps...
Thanks for the information
Confusing the rules exist even before the pandemic
Very good to expose them i will never travel on their airline
I suspect this has little to do with Thai and more to do with classic Indian babu mentality 😞. I have seen the same kind of behavior at various places in India, at airports as well as other offices. You will not see this at Thai airways in Thailand
You should write to thai embassy immediately. They behave like this with all the customers.
This is simply cheating! The staff behaved to a customer so rudely and impolite way. We must be aware of this scam and avoid this airline.
Your English while not perfect is very pleasant to the ears.. loved it. Subscribed.
Btw, for visa free transit both the tickets should be on 1 same pnr and same airlines!
Yes but other Airport u can transit by different Airlines... So, i agreed on that, that maybe in Thailand thats the case u need same airline, until in one second later boarding pass was handed to another passenger who had different Airlines and no visa and Thai Pass too.

Thai air needs to explain this rule before selling the ticket. Its airlines fault for not explaning the transit laws.
she had taken a ticket to Thailand, how would they know if she is going to transit in Bangkok with another airline. The rules will be on the terms and conditions. No airline in the world can read out the terms and conditions to every passenger. The passenger must go through it and if she had any doubt could have emailed or contacted the airline through the phone.
