There's something so beautiful about Claire waking up Kate, then Aaron waking up Claire, then Claire waking up Charlie, then Kate waking up Jack. That's probably why Desmond made sure to go to the concert with Kate. He had to made sure some things happened. A pretty big chain reaction depended upon Kate finding Claire backstage.
See, Kate and Claire were connected forever through Aaron, that's why they had to be together and relieve that to remember. It's really beautiful, connections do not always have to be ''romantic''... They had a deep bond for eternity.
To those confused, basically they are all dead. The plane did crash, and the island does exist. All of what they encountered did happen. They didn’t die in the plane or even together, they passed on in their own time. In this purgatory created, they live out different lives until the day they are meant to reconnect. As Jack’s father tells him in the final act, the people on island are the most important thing that ever happened to you, and that they were destined to find each other again to move on to the next plane of the afterlife.
@@YodatheHobbit The word is fine, it actually fits. It's not only used by religious people. It's a purgatory-like reality, limbo if you may. Whatever. Don't nitpick.
Why is it no matter how many times I watch this scene I still cry. I love watching Emilie De Ravin movies and mostly cause her as Belle in Once Upon A Time.
why o why do I bawl like a baby every time I watch this scene and when Jin and sun and sawyer and Juliette remember but this one hits me so hard in feels.
I started watching this show a couple months ago on netflix and I have seen every single episode of lost. Charlie and claire where the only one's I payed attenion to...and when charlie died on the island to try save claire, aaron, and the other survivors, I cried. And when claire found out about charlie's death, I cried because she cried. And when I saw the finale episode at this scene, they remembered. And I cried for legit over an hour. They're love makes me still cry. I love them forever. :)
this is the best touching moment in the whole tv show, it also is the Sun/Jin Moment and even the James/Juliet one and Des/Penny, but i thhink Jack and Kate (The MAIN couple? could have doone SO MUCH BETTER!!!! I mean, they kind of dissapointed me and Shannon/Sayid... There wasn't the necessary chemestry on their last sceene, but yeah, Charlie and Claire took the show completely in this part i cant help but cry!!! ♥ thumbs up if you agree
I watched LOST right from the first day it aired, and although at times I didn't feel like sticking around...I am SOO glad I did! Claire and Charlie were always my favourite and this scene proves my point *weeps*. I personally LOVED the final (I even got up at 4:30am so as to watch it with the rest of the world.) Forever LOST!!
Claire got the second chance to actually become a mother. Charlie got to stay in the band Daniel knew who his father was. His parents were together, and his mother did not try to kill his love for music. Nadia had found stability, which is what Sayid had wanted for her the entire time. Though her husband fumbled, Sayid had the chance to save her this time. Charles Widmore was not blood thirsty and cruel, and Desmond was working for him. Jin had the chance to break away from all this mafia business and be with his child. Sun was not going to raise the baby alone this time around. So it's like they finally had the chance to correct the things they were never given a chance to correct. 😢
Man I hate Lost for what they did to these two. They were both such good people and look where that got them in the later seasons... This scene makes me cry like an effin baby every-single-time.
My ROCK GOD RETURNED TO HIS LOVE'S AWWWWW BUT IT'S TOO BAD HE FINALLY COMES BACK AND HE'S NOT OUR BEAUTIFUL, CUTE, ADORABLE, NICE, KIND , AND AWESOME CHARLIE ... AND I WISH THAT HURLEY AND HIM should of HAVE A MEMORABLE CUTE MOMENT AND TO BAD WE DON'T GET TOO SEE HIM AND LIAM MAKE-UP / meeting Claire and Aaron!... and it's to bad we couldn't some how see Charlie somehow helping Hugo or somehow protect Claire or something awesome with him on the Island, dead(as a spirit or a way for us to no that he's there by her) or alive!... BUT I'LL TAKE IT ! LOVE U Charlie and Claire with Aaron !!!!
When I watched the final for the first time this was the moment where I finally began to cry and couldn't stopped it til the end scene. "Charlie!" "Claire???" *kiss* Awwwwwww!!!! :) :)
cus this is sort of their limbo...a what if the plane hadnt crashed....but because it was meant to happen desmond brings the characters together and as they are with one another they remember the island....kate helped claire the first time she had aaron and thats why she starts remembering and charlie was the acting father of aaron so seeing him sparked his memories aswell
Why are you calling someone who you have no idea who they are, no clue what they're like as a person, a bro? How is this person who posted the video like a brother to you?
Here is the deal, i dont speak a lot of english but ill explain you how i can. In this part they are all dead, they created this alternate world so the could find each other again before going to heaven or whatever and Desmond was the costant of everyone so they could meet again, they all die in their respectives periods, for example Jack dies in the island like sun and jin. And hugo a lot time before cause he was now the protector of the island. Everything that hapened in the island was true ..
Or since the other one was them entering like a half-between heaven and earth, the other one wasn't real. But she has visions that she did give birth to her son in season one. Because they all died on the plane crash. It was all just their imagination.
I loved the first few seasons of this show when it was on. But I don’t and never will get these flash sideways, backways shit 😂 I don’t get how they’re all “remembering” life on the island before they got to the island 😂 it makes no sense
Yes Charlie did die on the Island. However there was Flash Sideways episodes (SE6) which is basically what happens to each character if the Oceanic flight 815 did not crash on the Island. lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Flash_sideways_world
I find this scene funny because the first was so biologically accurate. I mean it's a good thing she was wearing a skirt, cause that kid was flyin out of there!
God. When Kate says thank you to Charlie, but it's not for the blanket. It's for the sacrifice he made when they were still alive. Phenominal
I've always felt like Kate's "Thank You" to Charlie is actually her saying through time "thank you for your sacrifice, it saved so many of us"
I am s o b b i n g
That is why she says thank you. I agree
Agreed
@@b.b.6405 me too.. shh don't tell anyone..
Yes, that's what writers intended this scene to be.

That's probably why Desmond made sure to go to the concert with Kate. He had to made sure some things happened. A pretty big chain reaction depended upon Kate finding Claire backstage.
True. Well said.
Kate and then Locke tried to wake Jack up. Jack resisted, but it was ultimately Daddy that woke him up.
See, Kate and Claire were connected forever through Aaron, that's why they had to be together and relieve that to remember. It's really beautiful, connections do not always have to be ''romantic''... They had a deep bond for eternity.
this was the best awakening but the most emotional scene of 'The End' was Jack say "I'll see you in another life, brother" to Desmond

Except for the word purgatory, you nailed it.
@@YodatheHobbit It was pretty good. I think the same as you, go without the term Purgatory... Sounds like Catholic doctrine "Purgatory"..
@@robbiesaunders9602 Call it limbo, or any other word whatever. It's just a word.

dominic monaghan's acting in this scene deserves all the awards
So sad best part in lost is when they remember everything...
This scene and the final scene always get me in tears. No other show did this like lost did.
That’s something very special
No matter how many time I watched this scene, I always cry.
God, my favorite moment in the finale. I adore those two so much.
When I watched the finale of lost this scene and every scene after it had me sobbing tears of just overwhelming happiness
No matter how many times I watch this, I always tear up when Charlie remembers his memories with Claire back on the island
Why do I cry when I watch this EVERY SINGLE TIME?
You're not alone... I cry too every time that I watch!!!
I do the same every time! I don’t know why but I can’t keep my emotions :’D

I LOVE Claire and Charlie! They look sooooooooooo cute together! Cried my eyes out at this scene!

The baby on the island looks more newborn than the baby in the flash sideways.

But didn't she give birth Aaron in season 1? So why did she had to give birth to him again?

@jollyholly45 Tip, don't watch scenes from season 6 before you get there ;) xD
how did they die
Everybody dies some time kiddo. Some before you, some long after you.
wasnt aaron born already
yes in the original timeline, this is a different timeline that went back to 2004
no their in parallel universes !
They got on the plane, but it never crashed.
He did. But this scene is after their dead. They imagine themselves after dead a story if the plane had never crashed

So fucking comfused
