Excellent video, I am also learning how to play DK blood, I wanted to ask if you could help me in something. I would like to know the name of that addons that tells you what you heal or the score of healing in green color and what you absorb please.
Welcome to the DK fam!! If you're talking about on my screen. I use the default blizzard scrolling battle text. Open up the options and search for combat. It should pop up. Make sure they are all toggled.
A+ content, dude. What are you doing to show that giant icon with your debuff just left of center of your screen? My eyesight has grown pretty bad after so many years squinting into various games for endless hours, I have trouble seeing my debuffs/buffs-and boss’s. Btw-I’ve recently been losing aggro to paladin tanks. Been especially bad this week, since the weekly maintenance. No idea what’s going on with it. Even when they’re substantially less geared than me. I’ve also noticed when I’m on my paladin, whose I’ll is only just scraping 460, I’m pulling aggro, especially from bear tanks.
WeakAuras is the giant icon. BDKs have to maintain a bone shield buff, so that makes it easier for me to keep track of it. You can set it up for any buff or debuff as well. I'll say Weakauras seems really complicated, so it takes a little bit of experimenting with training dummies and the menus to get it right. But some places also have pre-made ones you can use, just Google for those. Don't fret. You aren't the only one. I've also noticed an increase in threat generation from paladins. I'm not sure what caused it but I noticed it last week at first. If your OT is a paladin just be prepared to put full effort into your rotations or expect having to taunt more. It actually helped me as I have to really focus my rotation to maintain aggro. I also pop a few of my big CDs when I take over in order to help get a leap on the aggro meter.
I guess you figured it out by now, a month later, but just as an fyi, that polearm is agility only and therefore you couldn't roll need on it. And the one handed axe probably simply because frost can use it. The need/greed system this season is a little strange, allowing me to roll need on champion equip when i have slotted hc.
Yeah, at the time, I thought all polearms had a strength stat as well. So i pretty much glossed over it. Then not being able to roll need on the polearm but need on ax was making me think I had my loot spec as frost. Just a cluster. My loot drops/wins had been so horrible that I was pretty much loot starved and trying to get whatever I could, lol.
